If you're searching for a microphone and speaker setup for your workplace or home office, then this all-in-one, wireless conference mic/speaker is a great bit of kit for a variety of uses, and with a top volume of roughly 90dB, and audio output that stays reasonably clear and distortion-free throughout the volume range, combined with significantly better microphone quality than most microphones built into laptops or cheap headsets, it is likely a significant upgrade to most people's setups. The microphone recording quality is at its best between 1-3 feet (give or take), as anything closer or further away will start to sound over-processed or overly hollow for those on the receiving end of the call. The device also does a surprisingly good job at picking up numerous voices (supposedly optimised for 14-20 people), allowing each member to be picked up and differentiated between, while still outputting the audio simultaneously. As for powering the device, you can simply keep it plugged in 24/7 if it's never going to need to be moved, but in the event that you do need to move around - especially if you're working from home and there is suddenly a loud racket during an important call - then the internal, rechargeable 500mAh battery can easily last throughout a full day of work, and charging it is reasonably quick (thanks to small internal battery).

Firstly, from a sound quality point of view, this is great for listening to speech and in fact even playing music on this is pretty good too! In terms of volume, it goes very loud, but I found even at lowest audible volume it can be fairly loud, so definitely for bigger rooms. The mic pick up is good, and you become very audible to the other end, with no echo or distorted speech as you can get from the built-in mics of your device. Control is via touch on the device with ability to increase/decrease volume, mute speaker and mute microphone. I tried it on an iPad Pro via bluetooth which paired up nice and easily. During my 3 days of using this, on 2 occasions, the device went into sleep/power save mode after a couple of hours of no usage. I turned it back on again, but then when making a call, I could hear people, the mic was not muted, but people couldn't hear me. A power off/on for the device then fixed the issue. However you don't want this to happen in the first place! So I would suggest power-cycling it before any important calls... At £120 at time of review, I think it's a good price for something of this audio quality. Overall, a really nice speaker, but one star dropped because of this glitch. Would be great if some firmware update could fix this...

This speakerphone gadget is so good, I am highly impressed at the sound quality when playing music. My daughter is partially deaf and blind and when someone calls her on her mobile phone I have to talk to whoever is calling because even on loud speakerphone she can’t hear them so this has made such a difference, she can hear the caller now, it’s so clear. I’m grateful to have found something that has given her a tad more independence. There is one thing missing, a remote control would make this even more disabled friendly. The design is perfect and very sleek looking. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. I can’t comment on laptop use but I would imagine seeing it work perfectly through a mobile phone you will have no issues. A fab product for so many different occasions. Highly recommended.

This is very handy for conferences where a whole room may need to speak and/or hear. You place it in the middle of the room, use usb or have it wireless, and it can pick up all the voices unlike a laptop would. No one has to shout or move spaces. It can be left on standby for a long period of time (I left it like that for a day and it was fine) Even on the lowest sound setting, it’s still really rather loud. The sound quality is very good too. It can play music through the speaker and the quality is good for that as well. At the time of writing this review it’s £120 with a £20 voucher - I think for £100 this is a great piece of kit if you need a speaker / mic for meetings online.

This is an extremely useful gadget to have, especially if you're like me who often work from home and have to attend various conference and video calls on a regular basis. This device is light enough to put in your laptop bag and carry around with you, if required. As is often the case, the sound of the speaker on my laptop isn't that great and more often than not, I tend to miss important points during meetings due to the inaudible sound every now and then, which is most frustrating. However, this conference speaker and microphone has resolved that issue and I am more than pleased to have discovered this gadget, which is brilliant. The sound quality is second to none and I can hear all of the participants' voices clearly without any distortion or lagging. I particularly like the fact that this device is equipped with voice enhancement technology and is able to eliminate background noises, so that participants are not disrupted by surrounding noise especially as I live beside a busy road where traffic noise can be bad at times. You don't need to download any apps to use this device. It's a case of just plug & play, which is great. Bluetooth connection was easy and quick. Works very well on both Zoom and Webex calls. Battery charges fairly quickly and lasts for a very long time (up to 24 hours from a single charge). Overall, this is a perfect device for my requirements, which I am very happy with. A very well-made and a good quality product which has far exceeded my expectations. It costs £119 (price with a 14% discount at the time of writing this review) which is worth the investment. Highly recommended!
