Sunless Dark Self Tanner Mousse with Bronzer 8 fl oz – Instant Natural Looking Fake Tan for a Bronzing Glow, Streak Free, Fast Drying, Long Lasting Sunless Tanning Color

I love this self tanner!! It's the same brand the salon I went to used. I am VERY light skinned (similar to Anne Hathaway at her palest) and this works very well. I always worry that self tanners can look orange and blotchy especially with regular use, but this one doesn't. I can load it on and not worry about it being too dark. Before applying, I put lots of lotion on my hands, and some on my elbows, belly button, front & back of knees and my entire foot and ankle including the bottoms of my feet. Then I apply all over (including feet) before bed since you can't get wet for 8 hours. Wash your hands well! I wash them twice, reapply hand lotion and then use the backs of my hands to rub a little more on my wrists (front and back) and tops of my hands. I blot any remaining foam with a paper towel. I do this so there isn't a line on my wrist where the tan stops and the my hands look super pale. I use a blow dryer to help dry the mousse in my body. I wear nothing or something very lose to bed. The solution does rub off a little on your sheets. I find that most of it washed out (I have gray sheets so I think most/all washed out). When you wake up, you have a nice tan and it deepens a little more in the next 24 hours. When I wake up, I shower, get ready, and it doesn't stain any of your clothes. There is bronzer in the formula when you put it on so its easy to determine where you've applied it already. The bronzer is what can get on your sheets. I've tried different products and always read online reviews before buying. The tan lasts about 5 days I would say and my face does fade faster because I wash it twice a day, but you can touch that up. This stuff is great and the price is awesome!!

I've tried a million fake tan mousses and this is the best by a long shot. I was worried about spending $30 for 8 oz, but then I realized I spend $15-$25 on other brands that are only 6.2 oz and they either smell bad or don't have great payoff. There's not that stinky, fake tan smell that lingers even after a few showers. The color is great and develops over several hours, so it's best to sleep in. I would be careful around your ankles and feet because even with lotion applied prior, I still had some splotchy spots, but came off fairly easy with a scrub in the shower. It was a little sticky, but they all are, so no complaints there.

This self tanner is amazing. I used the Norvell Streak Free Mitt to apply it. It went on so easy, I could see where I had been and it gave me a streak free natural looking tan. I have very fair skin and it gave me just the right tone, not too dark and no dark spots on my elbows or knees and NO orange. It also fades naturally with no off color spotting. I rarely leave reviews but I am impressed with this product!

Since we are in the age of heightened skin CANCER awareness, I'm assuming that's why you're surfing reviews for self tanning lotions. After a good amount of online research I decided to give the Norvell Brand a try, since the spray tan salon I go to uses this brand. But hey.. If I can do it myself instead of spending $30 every two weeks just so I can stand naked in front of a stranger to get a spray tan, I'll give it a shot. Pros of Norvell self tanning mousse: It's a mousse. This made application much easier than with other lotions or gels I've tried. Spreads very easily, but also dries fast so be quick! Good final color. Final color doesn't look fake. It does look natural, and best of all not ORANGE! Scent. This stuff has a nice scent. Flower-like. Not too strong either, just enough. Fast acting. I will begin seeing results in about an hour or two, with full results the next day. Cons of Norvell mousse: No color indicator. You won't know if you're going to end up with streaks until the next day. While I haven't gotten any, I have had some splotches where more was applied than other areas. Skin drying. It does dry your skin. Since you can't apply lotion for a full 24 hours after use, expect to be itchy. And expect to have to use extra moisturizer as long as you are using this. Fabric staining. This WILL stain clothes and sheets! It's best to not shower for a full 24 hours after applying so sleep on a towel and wear black! Slow to completely dry. Seriously. Even though it's a mousse it takes a good while to completely dry. So if you have an hour or so and are comfortable walking around your house naked with your arms above your head so you don't get lines under your breasts, then this shouldn't be a problem. When it comes to Norvell. You are getting what you pay for. It's a good product for the price. But I do recommend doing your homework on how to apply self tanner properly. Otherwise enjoy the sun kissed glow this will give you.

Excellent! Easy application with the separate glove, great natural colour after 1 application. I am able to apply before I go out as it dries quite quickly.

It arrived and when I picked the bag up it seemed to be very warm to touch. I opened it up and the liquid ran out of the bag and the wrap around the bottle sat full of liquid from inside the bottle. It almost see like it boiled out of the bottle because it the almost hot to touch.
