Mark Feldstein, The Original Singing Bird Clock, 25th Anniversary Edition, 8 Inch, Green

I've had this clock about 2 weeks and it's working fine. It helps me with getting distracted and losing track of time, and I'm learning some bird songs I didn't know. The small size of the version I ordered isn't a problem for me. For telling time--there aren't any numbers on the clock face anyway, so you'd go by the relative position of the hands, and that can be seen from across a large room. It's not a big display clock, though; it's a little bit over the height of a cheap paperback book. Mine has the green rim, which you could call "forest green," and it's a cute little accent. It plays even on a cloudy day where I have it, about 5 feet from a south-facing window. It doesn't activate at night when there's just light from the next room over, but it will if you put it next to a lamp that's turned on. I can hear it from 2 or 3 rooms away; I think they chose a good volume. The sound quality is good enough although one of the songs sounds kind of "cheep." :)

My great grandparents had one of these clocks in their farmhouse kitchen, and it is one of those small details that stuck with me among a thousand memories from that place. Recently it hit me out of nowhere. I remembered that old clock chiming bird sounds. It was simple, but it added something really special to the atmosphere. This clock brought all of that flooding back instantly. The sound quality is great, the design is classic, and it feels just like the one I remember. It is also a Certified Audubon product, which is a nice touch if you are into birds. If you are looking for something unique, nostalgic, or just a little more alive than a standard wall clock, this is absolutely worth it.

I had the original Audubon bird clock for about 30 years and it was like an old friend. It stopped working recently and I missed hearing the cheery bird songs, so I ordered this clock as a replacement. The green frame is beautiful and I'm very pleased with the clock overall. The birds are different from my old clock, but just as welcome.

Lovely! It took me a bit to get used to the (well done) bird sounds each hour. Now I want another one for dow stairs!

I purchased the bird clock for my wife. It is well built, and looks nice. It could be a little louder. I mounted it on the wall, but it fell on the tile floor. It did not break and still works great. I would buy another

These clocks are so charming and the sound is very accurate. I appreciate that there is a light sensor, so it doesn't chirp at night when all the lights are out and the household is sleeping.

I am so disappointed, I was sent a faulty clock. At 7:00 it is supposed to be a mourning dove sound but it's something else. We have lots of mourning doves around our house and I know exactly how they sound and on the clock at 7:00 it is definitely NOT the sound of a dove. I don't know most of the birds on the clock so I am not sure if their sound is correct but I am sure the tune of the mourning dove is incorrect.

This bird clock is the best, every hour a different bird chirps. Love it!!!

I've just got my Clock last night. I did the settings just like the instructions: Setting the clock at 12:50 before adding the batteries, then after the batteries were in, I setted the clock at the right time. The birds didn't sing overnight but this morning at 9:00 the Cardinal sang. It's not too loud either...just the perfect volume. Can't wait to hear the other birds. :)

J'aurais préféré l'horloge un peu plus grande. Cependant, celle reçue fonctionne très bien. Très satisfait.

Good bird songs for each hour. Pity that the songs are a bit short.

This lock was a bit smaller than exoected but the bird sounds are clear and loud and cute It’s a great idea for a clock. I’m buying another one for a six year old
