I keep these instant ice packs in my classroom and it makes the after-recess bumps and complaints go away almost immediately! If you work with elementary age students, you already know about the magical healing powers of the Wet Paper Towel, but these are even better. 😉 One large box latest me for two school years! I did have some issues figuring out the best way to “pop” the packs to activate them. I’ve had the most success with stepping on the pack with my heel.

Let’s start with the pros: It’s portable and easy to use. It gets really cold when you break the liquid balloon inside. It stays cold for about 10 minutes before it starts to just be cool. Cons: It only stays ice cold for 10 minutes. The balloon is a bit hard to pop. I don’t really notice any smell or anything. I’m using mine for anxiety and panic attacks. It helps to hold something cold. Since I’m in AZ and heat affects my anxiety, I’m hoping these help me have some relief. As for pain relief, I don’t think it stays cold long enough to do that. Tried one on a headache, and it’s not really helping. That’s after meds and lights off. These are just okay, but not worth it in my opinion. The price is high for no relief.

The cold does not last very long, but these are great to keep a few in the car for kids sporting events or traveling.

Just what was needed for granddaughters sports first aid kit. A smaller quantity would be better but not a deal breaker

Easy to use can be taking on any trip and used anywhere… last at least 20 minutes which is adequate for the length of time to use one

These actually work unlike the ones I bought from the chemist. Easy to use, good size, I now keep a few of these it my gym bag for emergencies.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Very hard to activate... if you have hand issues don't bother. After activating though they cool inatantly and work for the stated time.
