I own many KastKing products and I do so because of their performance to cost value proposition which just can’t be beat. This fish scale, pliers and lip grabber set is another example of their effort to provide quality products and a reasonable price point for the weekend or everyday fisherman. The scale has a large easy to grasp handle, large buttons and screen that I can actually read without having to hunt for my reading glasses – bonus! Plus the screen is backlit if you get lucky and catch fish in the dark. Only negative I have for the scale is it requires a tiny screwdriver to remove 2 screws when you need to replace the 2 AA batteries, they include the screwdriver but I am probably going to lose it at some point, wish the compartment could lock without the need for a tool. The positive is the screws hold the battery compartment lid tight to produce a water proof seal for the battery compartment since the battery lid has an O-ring around it. The pliers are perfect for me, they fit my hand well (I wear a man’s Large glove) and have all of the features built into them that you would expect. The belt holster for the pliers is made out of thick plastic and holds the pliers firmly and is comfortable to wear…just no complaints with the pliers or belt holster. The lip grabber works but is too short/small for me since I do a lot of bass fishing, but work perfectly for smaller pan fish (which I do catch quite a bit). I will probably stick with using a larger set of fish lip grabbers and keep these as backups or hand off to others when they go fishing with me. All in all you can’t go wrong with this set, I highly recommend it!

The fish grips are perfect. The plyers are almost perfect. I saltwater fish a lot so the line, braid/mono/fluoro is a higher strength than fresh. The line clippers have worn out after a year. Price wise, amazing, but sharpening is a pain. I need a sharpening block. If they offered replacement parts to purchase, I would be all over that. Heck, even higher quality would have me opening my wallet. The plyers have been a life saver for myself and the fish.

Bought as a gift for an active fisherman. He said he uses it often and it's great quality. It's better than other cheap versions he's had.

I agree with other reviewers on the scale. It was accurate when used to test on some weights I have. It’s also handy for keeping track of the individual and total weights of fish caught. The controls are intuitive to use. It seems like it might be nice if it was a bit more compact but the large screen is easy to read which is a plus. The spring-loaded pliers are nice but probably a bit short for hook extraction so you’ll probably need a good hook extractor which I use anyway. They grip and hold hooks securely. The line cutters work great even on braid and the holes for holding hooks are a great help when tying hooks on to the line. But the best feature of all is the fish lip grabber! It’s compact so you can keep it in the pocket and handy when you need to grab a fish. Unlike what one reviewer commented, they DO allow you to easily hold and release the fish with ONE hand (see my attached video). Just put your index finger through the loop which allows it to hang down so you can hold it securely with your hand. You then use your thumb to release the catch. Genius design unlock the other standard lip grippers that I have that require two hands and are awkward to release smoothly.

Pliers are handy, have split ring end on them which gets used frequently. Cutters get dull and are hard to sharpen, but i have them mostly for removing hooks, and split rings, would be nice if they were easier to sharpen. Only use fish grippers when a guest is on boat who doesn’t want to hold fish with their hands, which i don't understand, but to each is own. Got for $14 which i thought was fair price.

Scale seems nice as long as it's accurate and it lasts. Lip grabbers are tiny and the pliers are ok. Sheath for pliers are junk, it's plastic and they just fall out. The stretch cord attached to the pliers is plastic and will break soon.

Delivery was fast, quality is decent, and it fits great on my nylon tackle bag

Produto tem bons acabamentos. Porém o pegador é pequeno e o laço para colocar a mão também é muito pequeno, para quem é maior de 1,80 não compre, vai parecer que é feito para criança e fica difícil se segurar, e como é importado ele é muito manuseado, e caixa chegou toda rasgada, e ele veio com uma parte de plástico quebrada, não tive uma experiência positiva, fica aí a dica.
