Hydroflask kitchenware is high quality and heavy. The weight is not good for backpacking. But otherwise it is very sturdy and durable for car camping, or for a dish/bowl when traveling with your own food (to eat by the road, or at a motel). The different colors are nice, if people in a group setting want to claim a specific color of plateware--to prevent confusion. It is expensive, so it is best to get it on a sale. About the only thing of criticism is that some of these nest together very well, but some may not perfectly nest together. For the price, all should nest perfectly, but it is a minor quibble. Everything else is very good.

We love these plates! We RV full time and got tired of buying paper plates frequently. I didn’t want glass or ceramic plates due to traveling frequently and the possibility of breakage. I found these plates and they are perfect! We love the size, ease of cleaning and they look great too! We’ve had them for about a month and they still look great! We are careful about cutting things on the plates to help them not scratch as badly. It is stainless steel so they will scratch. I would definitely recommend these plates!

They seem well-made, but they are a tad small and heavy. The polished edges would also drive me nuts with fingerprints.

Honestly pretty cool, good for hot food, bottom wont feel the heat

I had my eye on these for awhile but they were too spendy. Finally pulled the trigger when Amazon temporarily marked them down (I'm convinced there is some algorithm at play here, but it saved me $ so no complaints!). Anyway, I got tired of having epic camping fails because paper plates just can't always cut it out in the wild (plus, trying to be more eco-conscious and not use disposable). Settled on these based on the reviews, and am not disappointed. They hold the food well, and the little rim keeps things from tipping/rolling off the plate when you are walking from the cooking area to the seating area (whatever your set up may be; we tend to eat around the campfire). The insulation keeps everything from burning your legs if the food is particularly hot. They clean up nicely, and they nestle so perfectly! We bought 4, and when nestled, probably are less than an inch in height. Makes it super compact to travel with. We also have the bowls and the serving platter (and I just snagged the french press at a Marshall's and it looks really well made too). I was so excited to order these, and they did not disappoint. They have been a great addition to our camping gear!

Heavy, durable, and the plastic on the bottom makes it safe to carry items just off the fire. Hydroflask’s outdoor kitchen ware is absolutely the nicest.

Get a bowl it’s more versatile.

Dependable, durable, solid, all around plate for my portage trip just this weekend with a group of friends. Used it as a personal plate, a buffet plate, fanning the fire, cutting food, keeping food warm (with a metal pot cover). 10/10

I have two of these for my toddler. I don't like using plastic for him, and these are a great stainless steel option. Easy to clean and I like the coated bottom so it doesn't clang on the table.

Sadly not for use with metal cutlery, too easily scratched with every pass of metal knife & fork. Great idea, but I’ll stick to my old trusty porcelain coated set.
