When I need another 2 port 10G network card, I'll go for another one of these! ### ⭐ Died less than 2 years later *by R***O on October 15, 2023* Update: Removing 2 stars as item died 21 months later. The card was left alone during this time. Today it emitted a smell and died without warning. I would say that it overheated. --- Pros: Value for money, heatsink that dissipates heat without the need of a fan. Speed throughput really high at 10gbe. Cons: It can connect at 10gbe but the fallback is 1gbe - no 2.5gbe or 5gbe support. Seems to be using CPU a lot when maxing out speed. Windows drivers are not up to date. Get the Intel drivers (search for Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540 Series) Overall, I am not sure if it's a keeper. I would like to see it work at 2.5gbe as well and use less CPU.
