XFLY-MODEL 80mm 12-Blade EDF Ducted Fan with 6S Brushless Inrunner 3665-KV2300 Motor PRO Model Jet Aircraft

Bought this unit to replace the stock unit in my Eflite 80mm F-18 Blue Angels jet. It’s an older model that I don’t fly often for a couple reasons. It’s discontinued and spare parts have become difficult to find and because it always felt underpowered on this already heavy model. So now I only have it being discontinued for the reason not to fly it often but it’s so much more fun to fly now it’s the only jet in my hangar I’ve been using since it’s repower! It absolutely screams and according to my GPS telemetry module It hits speeds of over 120 mph when making high speed passes. The coolest thing though is how hard she climbs out now on a missed approach that there’s no pressure to try and land when a go-around is the correct thing to do in an unstablized approach. I’m gonna grab probably two more of these motors after I’ve tested the one I have in my Eflite F-16 Thunderbird and my Freewing F-5 which should fly ridiculously fast seeing as how it cooks already with the X-Fly v1 motor that’s already installed. Highly recommended if you want more power!

These fans are great. Plenty of power on 6s. I installed the fans into the freewing MiG 29 and had to cut a little bit of foam to get them to fit. If you were wondering if these are drop in like the freewing fans they are not. Slightly longer and the housing is just a touch larger. I believe they are similar to the FMS fan units.

The motor has tons of power. Great price fast shipping I would highly recommend this unit. I used it on an rc boat hydroplane model and performs perfectly.

The X Fly 80mm edf. Is very powerful, well balanced and sounds great. The realistic jet sound is impressive
