I’ve had this steamer for months now and I enjoy using it on my 4c hair. I’ve used this steamer on children’s hair as well. It does a great job with penetrating and gets very hot, so do not sit too close when steaming your hair. The best thing is that it takes tab water and is easy to clean. Con, no storage or carry case or bag.

This is a great addition to my hair routine. It's made detangling my 4c coily hair MUCH EASIER and helped to provide MOISTURE. I'm looking to resolve a dry scalp issue, hoping this will help.

I did see a lot of negative comments on this device - broken parts, missing parts.. however I decided to go with the purchase anyway as regular steaming at a saloon would be way too expensive. I even went a step further as I'm not from the US, so I had to buy an electricity converter device to adapt to US standards for voltage etc...First of all, the package arrived in impeccable shape - I'm delighted to share that the 60$ shipping was worth it- obviously the package has been transported in a careful manner. All of the small details were there - even a bag of tiny cloths for essential oils. The instruction to assemble is quite clear and simple. So .. with a lot of unrealistic fear, I powered on the current converter, plugged the hair steamer in, and was genuinely relieved it didn't all blow up.. The steamer works great! It quickly starts to boil, and soon after steam starts showing. Indeed, you need to figure out how to sit under the device and play with random furniture for a while. I returned a lot of shine to my hair after just one use and I have to say I'm surprised these types of devices aren't way more popular. 100% recommend! It also shipped really fast, considering I ordered it right before the Christmas holidays.

Although I just received the product, I wanted to do a quick review. The machine heated up in about 5 minutes. The steam was good and not overbearing, meaning you don’t feel as if you’re burning. There was also plenty of space for my head, not too small. As you can see in the video it produces white steam when the ion button is on. Performance was good. The product I received was new based on the appearance and packaging. As far as durability, well we will have to wait and see. I’ll come back in a few months on that one. My hair felt well hydrated after the treatment. A suggestion would be to allow the dome to adjust. Being able to slide the dome up and down would help with adjusting the fit based on the individual. All in all, I like the product! 😃

I bought it February 2025 and I loved this steamer . I used it for my 2 kids hair and mine monthly. It’s October 2025 and all of a sudden it’s leaking under the base. There is no visible damage and this unit has been carefully cared for. It still seems to work when plugged but I’m not risking my life with mixing water and electricity. Less than a year is not long enough to see defects. For context my last steamer ( different brand) lasted 12 years

This is one of those items I use weekly for either steaming my hair or doing a facial. It steams very well and produces a lot of steam. It's compact and easy to store away. Definitely a yes, for anyone looking for a good steamer.
