I’ve been using this product for about a month now. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist to help prevent actinic keratosis. I also have very vascular, reactive, rosacea-prone skin, and this has not caused any flushing, warmth, or redness. There is a review here claiming that it causes flushing, but that’s based on a misunderstanding of vitamin B3 forms. This product clearly states “niacin as niacinamide,” which is the flush-free form of vitamin B3. It is specifically used in dermatology because it does not cause flushing—unlike niacin. If someone experienced flushing, that’s not the expected effect of niacinamide and is likely due to individual sensitivity or another factor—not the product itself. The mention of liver injury is also misleading in this context, as that concern is primarily associated with high-dose niacin, not standard doses of nicotinamide which are 500 mg twice per day. This product is labeled correctly and performs exactly as expected: no flushing and easy to tolerate, even for sensitive, rosacea-prone skin.

I have been taking https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M9GIV8S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8 but the amount of loose dust in the package is awful, so I decided to try a different brand. Very impressed with this version of Niacinimide. (From what I can tell, Niacinimide and Nicotinamide are similar vitamins.) When putting these capsules in other containers, the hands stay clean, unlike the previous version I used. I think some of the spots on my body have shrunk since taking the vitamin so I'm going to keep on taking it.

I was hoping it would help with skin issues, but no changes after a couple months of regular use. My talk to my doctor about increasing dose from the 1 a day to 2 a day to see if I see changes.
