Kingfisher Traditional Wooden Thermometer

Excellent buy ! Larger than I expected and temperature very easy to read. I was so impressed I replaced our old metal thermometer straightaway. I would recommend this item and the seller.! Very good price and fast delivery.

Works well as a garden thermometer, fairly accurate as well.

Bigger than I thought from the pics but that is a bonus as easier to read. This is used to get ambient temperature for pottery kiln programming and the thermometer agrees with the kiln so they're both accurate..... or both equally wrong, which they're not. Good quality and a very reasonable price.

Very basic but then it's dead cheap! Replaces one which hung outside for years and blew down in the wind and broke. Carries a disclaimer that it is NOT accurate but only an indication of temperature but I've checked it and it's about right and I wasn't expecting a calibrated scientific instrument for a couple of pounds. Disadvantage is that you have to view it from slightly to the left as the glass tube is badly stuck onto the wooden support. Not really a product I'd recommend but I'll live with it ... until the next gale blows it away!

An asset in this very hot spell we're having in the UK. As I have suffered with heatstroke it's just what the doctor ordered. The pin at the back with hook for attaching to the wall fell off as it wasn't secure but not massively difficult to remedy, however, the thermometer is great and wouldn't be without it. Great price for a great gadget.

This thermometer doesn’t work. Beautiful sunny weather but according to the readings it is below freezing.

I'm completely and happily obsessed with the weather. Maybe it's a Yorkshire Thing, maybe it's a British thing. Who cares! Our weather is so bonkers that it's always entertained me. Goodness knows where my usual outdoor thermometer has gone, but this had good reviews and so far it's perfect. It's fairly easy to read (with the usual side to side up and down thermometer squinting stance) and has been accurate since I bought it. Minus 3C one day, 14 the next. Typical Yorkshire weather! Deux de commandés, bon prix, design classique, 1/2 degré de différence entre les deux. Utile pour savoir la température à peu près (qui a besoin, pour s'habiller ou augmenter le chauffage en intérieur, d'une précision à 0,1 près ?). Nous recommandons. Notre utilisation est particulière pour un des deux achetés : mis en intérieur dans une maison de campagne pour mieux comprendre où il faut isoler/chauffer/mettre un rideau anti froid etc. [Mes commentaires sont souvent positifs car je compare avant d'acheter, ce qui prend du temps et évite de faire un mauvais choix]

L’article est reçu dans les délais, sous emballage plastique et bien protégé dans un carton suffisant. Il est conforme à la description et à l’image de la page données par le vendeur. Ce thermomètre en bois résineux (pin ou sapin) a une bonne présentation et les chiffres et le marquage sont nettement visibles. Il est présenté en version Fahrenheit et Celsius (centigrade), indiqué en haut du thermomètre par un grand « C » et un grand « F ». Au dos il y a un crochet métallique permettant de la fixer au mur (il suffit de faire un trou et mettre une petite cheville). A l’essai, il me semble assez précis à un degré près ce qui n’est pas mal pour un article bas de gamme Le prix, de 3,53€ PC le jour de mon achat en septembre 2017, en fait un article bon marché et d’un bon rapport qualité/prix En conclusion, même s’il n’est pas d’une finition exceptionnelle (il y a quelques bavures de colle le long le tube donnant les degrés et le protège-réservoir métallique est mal centré), c’est un article classique en bois, bon marché, pratique, de bonne présentation d’ensemble et prêt à poser. Dimensions : 25,7 cm de long ; 5,5 cm de large et 8mm d’épaisseur.
