This is awesome bit of kit, definitely does what it does

Not used yet , the concept seems to work in theory.

This device did make it easy to cut the recess for the hinge and gave a neat finish. I is, however, designed for US hinges which are bigger than the hinges used in the UK. This made it more fiddly to position it on the door. Although the results were good the time taken to set up meant that it would have been as quick to use a chisel.

Works really well with cordless router. Pleased with them.

The jig is not ideally suited for UK hinges. It can be used, but you need to measure the hinge centreline position when screwing the jig to the door. Do not rely on the guides at the side of the jig.

Great tool, good price and quality. Wish there was another way to attach template to the door instead of screwing it in. Again, just different style. I knew what I was buying. Router bit did excellent job.

Simple and easy to make the hinge grooves. No setup required. But unfortunately the templates are not for Australian hinges standard . I had to return but will definitely buy again if metric templates are made available for Australian customers.

After hand chiseling for decades, this product is like a dream come true. Though I'm not crazy about having to putty screw holes afterwards, this is the by far best option and necessary for hinging an existing cased opening. Slower than a multi jig template but much cheaper and easier to store. Using a router with a wide base is recommended but I used a trimmer size router making it possible to tilt and damage the jig. The included bit worked flawlessly. Make sure your hinge leaves match the one of two included jigs.

This item does not fit Australian style hinges. You need metric ones.
