HeadRush Prime Electric Guitar and Vocal Multi-Effects Pedal

I was looking for a multi effect pedal & researched all the available models. I wanted something quite small but feature packed & one which had great amp models & effects. Upon finding the headrush, I saw it had a 5 minute looper, a practice mode, owner clones which they upload to the cloud, bluetooth & WiFi, basically an endless list of everything you could possibly need.I don't have anywhere local to try one out so looked online. Prices were all pretty similar & with it being pretty new, used ones weren't available. I did however get one here, that someone had returned, with a great saving. I paid £326 & this is an absolute bargain. Having used it, the retail price is a bargain for what this little box of tricks can do. It's easy to use, sounds fantastic & the headrush cloud has lots of available amps, rigs & pedals. You can basically have any sound you want, with the tech of a pedal. A recent update came out, version 4.1 with more effect pedals & a better cloning tool for those who want their amp sound in a box. All in all I'm delighted with my purchase. It has every function I could possibly need, it's built like a tank & small enough to put in a gig bag. With every guitar sound you can dream of, it's versatile for any application. I'd happily pay full price for one & if this one got stolen, I'd buy another right away.

Absolute fantastic machine excellent touch screen and perfect for practicing and even learning guitar with built in drums and learning tool for slowing and pitching tracks I use Dropbox linked which is so handy love the machine highly recommended

Had the predecessor the MX5... Loved it but this is leaps ahead. Fabulous rich sounds. Quite capable of realistic synth sounds. Wifi and Bluetooth, so you can update without a pc and play along to demos on your phone via the Bluetooth. Nice small footprint for those of you like me who want to stick it in your guitar gig bag and go. Excellent for recording. Much more than I can list here. Worth every penny.

I've had the prime for over year and i primarily use it at home for creating tones and recording.You can get amazing tones however you will need to work on them or get good quality captures and irs from elsewhere such as on the headrush cloud (which is a lot better than some say).The interface is great, the touchscreen and graphics make it fun to play with it. The extra knobs you get with prime over core make it a bit more immediate for twiddling settings.The practice tool is great load up tracks to play with, you can slow it down, loop parts , very useful.Ever since the last major update , they have sorted out any glitches (wifi cutting out was really annoying), the unit is very reliable.The only downside is that it is a beast, large and heavy.I also have a nano cortex, and the tones you get from the headrush more than match up with that.

Very good sounds can be created and the touch screen makes it very easy, with version 4.0 firmware, there is now a remote editor so you can use a computer to make your presets in real time if you prefer that way of working, overall a very powerful unit with a compact footprint.

Bought used like new but turned up not working properly and with other items in box that should not be in there. Amazon have promised to get back to me before I send back to promised next one sent will 100% work

Overall it’s a pretty good unit that’s packed with features for a fair price.My issue is mainly with the phantom power - there’s terrible noise. I wanted to utilize the vocal aspect with a condenser mic and that just won’t work. Don’t include features that can’t be properly executed.

L’appareil qu’il faut avoir pour celui qui aime l’ultra qualité.Pas assez d’éloges pour cet appareil qui me comble au quotidien sur mes 5 guitares et basse.Je n’utilise que 13 presets très finement réglés selon mes goûts (vintage, son rond et chaud légèrement crunchy qu’aucun multi n’a su m’apporter jusqu’ici)Connexion Bluetooth et Wifi géniales pour MAJ et contrôle distant.On peut aller très loin dans les sons bizarres, mais là où il excelle c’est dans les sons faiblement crunchy avec reverb et Delay avec simulation de stack Marshall.Son soliste en disto sur le même concept assez hallucinant, 0 bruit de fond et sustain infini avec une profondeur et une rondeur de son inédites.Headrush a mille lieux des Boss et autres Zoom de même format. C’est plus cher, mais mieux vaut payer une fois et en prendre plein les oreilles que de changer d’appareil tous les3 mois sans jamais être satisfait… (on pourrait étendre ce concept sur tous les objets deConsommation…)

Venia usando el flex prime desde hace 1 año tanto en ensayos como directos y nunca me dejó tirado, antes tuve el mx5 que usé varios años y muy bien.Cogí este por la pantalla (con 51 años ya me cuesta leer en pantallas de 4') y por las opciones de salida que en el flex prime siempre la vi limitada porque no puedes enviar una señal sin IR a un ampli y otra a un IN EAR y otra a una mesa, con volumenes independientes, con esta si y además de manera rápida, sin tener que editar los presets justo antes del concierto. A parte que se agradece tener los 5 pulsadores, que para mi son lo mínimo que necesito sin tener que recurrir a pedaleras MIDI como me pasaba con el flex.Por otro lado he visto que idéntica cadena de efectos consume más CPU en esta que en la Flex, aproximadamente un 5-6%, indagando un poco vi que no usan la misma CPU. La de la Flex es teóricamente más actual (ARM CORTEX A-55 vs ARM CORTEX A-17)
