It's a loop and sterility seems to be good.

Here’s an image at 1000x of a gram stained slide I made from a TSA plate 48hrs at 37c inoculated with one of these “sterile” loops directly from the package using proper aseptic technique. I can’t identify most of what is there but it isn’t good. They’re highly motile as I inoculated only a single quadrant of the plate and at 48hrs the colony of whatever dangerous stuff these chinese loops are providing us had spread to more than half of the plate. I’ll stick to using flamed nichrome loops.
