Great refrigerator with sleek retro design. Focal point of the room. The packaging is top notch, it came with styrofoam inserts, and wood support. It arrived w/o any scratch, any ding. I was looking for dimension of base, stand(?) to see what size of stand cabinet I would need, but couldn't find any. So the base dimension without door, that actually sits on, Depth: 20 1/2", Width 21 1/2". Anything slightly bigger than that, this refrigerator will sit on nicely. During nighttime when we didn't open doors, it holds temperature pretty good, w/o fluctuation. Only problem I had was handle.... When it first arrived, the handle was loose. Refrigerator handles are mounted on mounting stud, and tightened with small screw on the handle. One of the small allen wrench screw on the handle was stripped, and completely cracked. Noway to fasten it, nor take off. (ordered screw remover, and will see how it goes.) Amazon didn't have handle they could replace. I was able to talk with Amazon and come to acceptable satisfied solution, and this was not reflected on star rating. Soon as I find a way to remove the screw, and find the replacement for it, ☆☆☆☆☆. Love the design! 24.12.7 Update on screw. Got a damaged screw extractor set, and I was able to remove cracked set screw easily. Found the screw thread size is metric M4 (4mm). Lowe's and home depot have specialty screw section, look for allen set screw, and they should have it. (FYI Incase you need to change the set screw)

The internal tray came damaged.

I really wanted to love this. I love the design and the color but overall once it arrived, it ended up being too bulky for a small studio kitchen about 7 x 8 feet big. Only one counter and I wanted the mini fridge built in but this was too tall. I needed a mini fridge with a freezer so vintage-looking options were limited. I ended up going for a smaller Frigidaire in stainless steel color.

Nice looking small fridge, but why there’s frost?

Very pretty, functions. Company is sorely lacking in customer service. Came missing a foot screw and it’s a month later and I still cannot get the company to send me a replacement. At this high luxury price, I expect all the components or replacements without dodging customer emails. Have dealt with better service with much cheaper products.

This is such a sleek, vibrant red Smeg fridge. This has been the perfect look and size for our game room. It was not hard to put it together. The size is not a full size fridge so it’s great for us. We just put drinks in there for guests or the kids to be in the game room. It does have a small freezer with an ice tray but we don’t use them. The retro look definitely draws the eye and starts up plenty of conversations. We get lots of compliments on this fridge. It is great quality. It is high priced but the brand is well known for its retro and nice quality.

Very unhappy with customer service. Our home was renovated by HGTV so no receipt was available for the SMEG mini fridge. I explained this, provided serial numbers and problem, I help. They said without a receipt we can’t help. Both have a bad compressor with is basically half the price of a new fridge.

First things first, I was very excited about the mint green I ordered, as the look of this "vintage" fridge is half the appeal. I was shocked to see vibrant red upon receiving! Aside from receiving the wrong color, this is a beautiful refrigerator. The vintage styling is certainly eye-catching. It appears it may be easily scratched, so I am being very careful. Will update more on that as time passes. The interior, while nice, is definitely lacking in space. I was quite surprised to find half of the bottom shelf area unavailable for any storage. I can only assume the motor or something to help function is what is housed there. You can see in my photos the back juts out very far into the bottom storage area. So, for $1799 regular price, well, I'd say I am being generous giving 3 stars. With the blatantly wrong color, and lack of space, if I had paid $1800 I'd be pretty disappointed to say the least.
