I bought two different suits as wasn't sure of size or quality. The other suit is effectively just a pair of cotton overalls with some extra bits. This suit for a very similar price is very heavy Calico (like dense waxed cotton) and is significantly better - it far exceeded my expectations and I had full confidence tackling 3 wasp nests. The only slight improvement that could be made is that the face mesh can sometimes touch your face (which I expect means they could sting you through it). I wore a cap to hold it away a bit (next time will use a dust mask given the chemicals you can breath) but some more structure in it would help. In terms of sizing, I used to be 6'5" and a light build and the XXL fits well but one size bigger would be good too. Overall a great purchase and value - hope they keep the pricing at <£40 as can't imagine the £100+ suits are any better though not seen the 3-layer materials as they may be worth it.

Bought this to wear when applying pesticide to a wasps nest. Good quality. Excellent visibility. Gave me a lot of confidence, but ultimately I didn't get attacked by the wasps so it wasn't really put under any severe test.

Always apprehensive when wearing a new suit at an angry wasp nest. However, in this case, there have been no weak spots and has provided excellent protection for a ridiculously low price. I have already ordered another one to provide a spare.

I have worn the suit twice at the association Apiary. I have been stung on both occasions through the suit. The first time i was stung through the suit in the crook of my right elbow. Shortly after the slight Easterly wind blew the veil back onto my face and i was stung on my lip. The second time was yesterday again the slight Easterly wind blew the veil onto my face and I was stuck twice on my forehead. The wind enters your hood and drags the hood and the veil onto your face and you are exposedif bees are on your veil. No other Beekeeper has this issue. I think this is a design fault with this suit.

Bon, déjà, il faut dire que je n'ai pas de point de comparaison avec un autre équipement du même type. C'est la première fois que j'achète un équipement de la sorte. Je l'ai choisi pour me débarrasser d'un gros nid de guêpes dans mes combles perdus. Parlons de la taille déjà. J'ai pris du 3XL et franchement, il ne fallait pas plus petit. D'habitude, cette taille de vêtement me permet d'être plutôt très à l'aise, mais pas là. En rajoutant des couches en dessous parce qu'il faut bien le dire, la combinaison n'est pas épaisse, je n'ai pas beaucoup de liberté de mouvement. Le casque n'est pas mal, mais le problème, c'est qu'il vous colle au menton. Il faut donc trouver un système pour l'éloigner de vous. Une casquette ne suffit pas. Je suis venu à bout du nid. Il faut dire que le froid avait commencé à s'installer et que les bestioles n'étaient franchement pas très vaillantes. Du coup pas de piqûre, mais je ne suis pas sûr qu'elles m'aient attaquées. La même chose en plein été, ça doit être plus sport. Et SVP, n'allez pas vous frotter à des frelons avec ça. En tout cas moi, je n'irai pas.
