Blackburn Outpost Elite Cargo Bag Rolltop 6.5l 420D Nylon

Just got it and love it! Very durable material, and quality you expect from Blackburn. However the size listed in the description here is off. The bag is cylindrical, and right at 5.5 inches across. And is a total of 18 inches tall. Of course you are going to roll that down to close it but this hopefully gives you a better idea of the size.

These are great! Would recommend them to anyone!

Nice bags that hold plenty and are for the most part are waterproof. Held up to 7 days bikepacking Ragbrai and will use for other planned bikepacking trips.

I stuffed most of my clothes into these for a 450-mile, 9-day unsupported road bike trip. They rode securely on the bike, and the clothes stayed dry during two days of rain. The light racks you buy for these are plenty sturdy. The system for attaching them is beautifully simple and works well, but not a quick click-in. Instead, you have to thread and tighten two straps around each bag. Doesn’t really take too long. You need to be organized in packing so you don’t have to dig through the bag.

Good waterproof material. It is a tall bag. After it is fastened to the cargo rack by the two straps coming with it, its upper part still needs to be stabilized. Using any kind of straps would do the job.

Previously purchased the Blackburn fork cages for my gravel/bikepacking rig. These bags obviously fit superbly into these and the straps (supplied with the cages) fit precisely through the loop attachments. Good capacity and can be rolled down wen not carrying tent bits or a sleeping bag. Seems like good quality material.
