does the roof come attached to this item as Ive just received it and have no clue how to attach the roof

On the apex you will find a plastic cap which unscrews, place the roof lining center through the screw hole and replace the cap then just unfold the roof and away you go. Sorry I cannot send a video as mone is now packed away for the winter.

What is the minimum height that can be used

I suppose you could use it without the legs extended. So that would be about 1 metre.

How many people do you reckon could fit inside as I'd like to buy this for a party/gathering I'm having

It is a good size. If just standing in it 12 easily or you could have a table in it with seating and still be comfortable. Great item and we'll worth the money
