Exactly what you need to mount a tablet on your Spider Pro stand
I bought the K&M Spider Pro stand - and love it. Infinitely adjustable, stable, robust and I can put my pedals underneath it - which you can't with some of the competitors. I use a mic boom from the mounting on the top and wanted to also include my tablet in the setup. I used a K&M 19740 tablet holder that I had from my old X-stand setup and attached to the mic boom. That felt like it was going to overload the Konig & Meyer Spider Pro Keyboard Stand boom and the screw in the top. So I bought this universal holder. and put the business end of the Tablet Holder onto the bracket. Absolutely spot on - clamps on in seconds - height adjustable on the stand and brings the tablet up front above my second keyboard. Absolutely what I wanted and - as with all things K&M - seemingly well engineered and robust.

Highly Recommended
Absolutely fantastic, I cannot praise it highly enough, I had the Ultimate stand which was good. Unfortunately I am 6ft 1" (1.83M) tall and I always seem to be bending down to play and especially change sounds whilst playing live. The K&M stand is taller, thus perfect for my height to play. Also with four legs the stand does not rock like the Ultimate did and after a year of gigging the Ultimate's legs keep falling out of the casing, due to a quite strange method of holding them. I have only had the K&M for a few months, therefore I cannot really comment on the longevity of the stand, but it does seem a lot more robust and solid than the Ultimate.

German Engineering Quality
This keyboard stand is outstanding, there is a cheaper copy available for about £55 but I doubt it is in this class. When you have expensive keyboards sitting on a stand you need faith that it will not let you down, I guarantee that this won't. It's not the cheapest out there but it just oozes quality and is very easy to assemble. This stand is well worth the money and will keep your equipment firmly in place and looks great as well. In my opinion It's a worthwhile investment.

Very good but not perfect
It's very well made and sturdy (and expensive!). It could be improved if both tiers were adjustable, angle-wise. My top keyboard is a Yamaha Tyros 3, which is quite deep (front to back) so it means that, to achieve a comfortable playing position, my lower keyboard (Kurzweil piano) has to be on the very final adjustment, so the lower arms are fully extended. As it's also quite a heavy piano, this results in a definite downward tilt of the lower level. I've been using two small pieces of wood to act as wedges between the keyboard and the stand arms, to make my lower keyboard level, which to be honest is a bit of a pain. It's only a small point, and for other people using different keyboards it won't be a problem. So...good stand but not perfect...room for improvement

Solid construction, useful, product as described
Works exactly as stated. As a keyboard player / vocalist I wanted to fit an iPad holder (K&M 19712) AND a mic boom arm to my Spider pro - and this works very well, allowing the standard boom arm accessory to be fitted to the top of the stand. There could be an issue with the maximum height of your top keyboard as the clamp obviously stops you putting the upper keyboard to maximum height. This depends on your height - I'm 6"1 and it's just right - 6'5 and you might find the height less then ideal. In the same vein, the iPad mounted on the 19712 holder could obscure your keyboard display - depending what keyboard you have. I use a Roland FA-06 on top and the iPad in portrait mode does obscure the display if I have the keyboard at maximum height. However I can happily lower the keyboard a little and am also happy to use in Landscape. An iPad mini would be less obstructive. All in all, works for me and makes my whole Keyboard, iPad, Microphone set up way smarter than it used to be

One of the best purchases I have made!
Over the years I have used X-stands and table-top style stands. I always found x-stands to be inherently unstable, but they were almost always the only choice in local stores. I decided to try a table-top style and it was definitely more stable, if a little pedestrian looking. Then I happened to play with another keyboard player who was using the Baby Spider Pro and I loved it! So I immediately ordered one for myself and it is one of the best purchases I have made for a long time! I play sitting down and the sheer range of height adjustment is brilliant as is the space beneath it for my peddles! I have also bought the solid music stand attachment which I use for my 2 tablets (mixing desk and lyrics). The other keyboard player had 2 tiers on his so I know it could work (even with the music stand) if I wish to in the future. This thing is VERY solid and looks like it is built to last! Highly recommended.

Can't fault this.
This is a bit more bulky than other column stands and a bit more expensive but it is really worth it. If you tried it in a shop you would buy it! Very well built and sturdy. No comparison with others I have used. Completely adjustable to your preference at home, studio or on stage, no more struggling to access the lower keyboard or see the screen. It really is excellent.

A little pricy, but worth every penny, an excellent quality and light keyboard stand....Now I have 2, one in Silver and this other in Black. I would recommend it to anyone that want his/her gear to look amazing in stage and also with the benefit that is very LIGHT !!!

Started having worries the stand would fit in my small apartment and be difficult to set up after seeing some comments after I bought it. Received the stand in the mail and was immediately relieved that it was certainly manageable. Setup was a breeze once I figured out how the 'spider' legs were supposed to be for support. Once done I will be able to repeat easier for next time. I have an Arturia KeyLab mkII that I use on the top tier. Little rubber bumpers can help raise this thin keyboard from hitting the holding fingers if you have the same setup (not a fault of the spider). I ended up buying two pieces of nice pine--a 4' section for the bottom tier and a 3' for the top. If I use the Arturia 61 on the bottom I can add a PUSH controller as well and use the top for sheet music. Otherwise I now have the Arturia on top of the top level pine and an 88-key on the bottom. I can add lights on the bottom of the top pine panel if I want which illuminates the bottom keyboard. Recommend marking position per other's recommendations as the arms have to be relocated to close, but that's easy. The design is beautiful, it doesn't actually block me so much. In fact with my angling I can see my 55" monitor over the top tier. A wide tripod mounted music stand let's me see 9 pages of sheet music if I use the top tier for 5 pages. I love it. Only been playing standing up for now. Might add RGB lights across the back for extra wow. Highly recommend this stand. The option of a 3rd tier really future-proofs this investment. It's very expensive compared to the other stands but the quality and design fit my needs.
