Excellent Universal garage door/gate remote - Updated
Father's Day of 2019 we were struck by lightning. No fire, but a lot of electric/electronic items were killed. Because I was distracted with trying to get the central HVAC unit replaced (it's hot in N.E. Florida in June!) I didn't pay as much attention to what the adjuster was recommending as I should have been. As a result I got a different brand of garage door opener than I was used to and different from the other opener for the other side of the attached 2 car garage. Carrying two remotes on my person or in my vehicles wasn't really an option so I set about looking for a universal remote. The reviews and ratings for this one were good so I ordered one. It came with complete printed instructions (contrary to what was written in some reviews) and syncing the new remote was as simple as following the directions. I found that the range (one of my principle concerns) was superior to the factory supplied and superior to the Home Link included in my wife's new car. I was so satisfied that I purchased two more - they are cheaper than the factory units, much smaller, and work better. What do I mean by better? The factory units require the button press to be exactly in the center in order to trigger the remote. The XIHADA remotes transmit no matter where on the buttons I push. All-in-all, I couldn't be more satisfied. The only remaining question is battery life. If it turns out to be short I'll be back to let you know. I purchased two of these openers in late 2019. As mentioned above I was concerned about battery life. Both get used often and to date absolutely ZERO problems. Batteriess seem as strong today as when new. I can't recommend this remote more highly!

Works great once programmed, finicky programming
I was skeptical this would work because I have an off brand gate that seems to have an unusual protocol for their remotes. I also have two garage doors. All three are now working great with this remote. You have to be percipient to get it programmed though. I did the process of holding the one button and pressing the other four times, it would blink like it was supposed to, but when I would press the button on the old remote, it wouldn't register in this one. I had to do it over and over and over. It must have taken over a dozen tries with each button I was programming, but in the end I got it done. I should only need to program it this one time, so while a bit of a pain, it is a small price to pay to have a remote programmed to all three things. Its range isn't great. I need to be about 50 feet from the gate for it to work. The gate's remotes work more than double that distance. My gate is 120 feet from the garage. I would like to climb on the motorcycle, hit the button and ride down the drive, but I am fine with riding to the gate and hitting the button.

This works perfectly for LiftMaster Professional
I recently purchased the Xihada Universal Garage Door Opener Remote with the clip attachment in Black with Grey, and it exceeded my expectations, especially at this price point. I have been impressed with the quality of the remote and the thoughtful design of the clip, which uses a spring-loaded mechanism to attach the clip to the remote. This is clever, although it was not readily apparent at first, so I thought I would point it out to others on Amazon. The clip was a mandatory feature for me, for easy visor placement. Others mentioned that they had difficulties setting it up. But I strong recommend following the video instructions provided both on Amazon and YouTube. They made the setup process a breeze, even though my garage door system didn't have a conventional โlearnโ button on the motor or housing, as many do. I will emphasize this, as I looked for several days to find one that did not necessarily require a โlearnโ button on the mechanism (although I think it can do both). Note that I did have and that you will need an old, yet still functioning, remote control to have any universal remote control work, and this device is no exception. This was the use case for my scenario. The Xihada remote proved to be versatile and adaptable, seamlessly integrating with my LiftMaster Professional Model HCT #501103. I was up and running in a couple minutes, with the included and pre-installed batteries, and I never touched the motor or housing, which is somewhat inaccessible in my garage anyway. Since installing the Xihada remote, I've experienced flawless performance every time I've used it. The range is impressive, much better than my old remote. The buttons are responsive, and I love the added convenience of having it securely clipped to my visor for easy access whenever I need it, as the old remote was just a key fob, and I hated fumbling for it each time we needed it. To be honest, we bought a second Xihada remote, so we have one for each car, and we retired the old remote, keeping it as a spare. Attached are photos on how to access and change the battery. It is easy to do. Just insert the tip of a credit card in the tiny slot in the back of the remote. Disassemble as shown and reverse after you carefully change the battery. The battery door needs a bit of finger pressure to close. In closing, I want to emphasize that I don't receive compensation for my product reviews; I simply believe in sharing my experiences, both pros and cons, to help others make informed decisions. If you found this review helpful, please consider giving it a thumbs up! And if you're in the market for a reliable and user-friendly garage door opener remote, look no further than the Xihada Universal Garage Door Opener Remote.

Great Remote & Price!!
Very happy with remote! The remote is small and portable, making it easy to carry around and use. It also has a simple and intuitive design, with four buttons that can be programmed to control up to four different garage door openers. One of the standout features of the remote is its compatibility. It is compatible with a wide range of garage door opener brands and models, making it a great choice for anyone looking to upgrade or replace their existing remote. The remote also has a long-range signal, which allows it to work from a distance and through walls and other obstacles. In terms of durability, it is well-made and holds up well to frequent use. It is also easy to program and use, with clear and detailed instructions included. I highly recommend!
