Fabulous sunglasses
Fabulous sunglasses which really cut down on glare. Polarising and photochromic. My eyes are very sensitive to bright light and these sunglasses, though designed really for glacier conditions, are superb as extra powerful sunglasses.

Great sunglasses for all conditions
I love these glasses, I walked up Snowden in them and was not disappointed, they kept the wind out of my eyes and the glare off the water and ice on the way up. The fit is quite large but after 20 mins or so of wearing them they are reliably comfortable.

Great Glasses
Glasses are really good quality, bit disappointing that product box was squashed and open inside the envelope.

Glare headache prevention!
Very dark perfect for driving in my convertible with the roof down as other glasses still allow light in and make you screw your eyes up. I would never try with the roof up as they are too dark. Also used when surfing as the glare was headache inducing. These sorted both the glare and the headache.

Plastic covering sunglasses frames peels off after roughly 6 months
I have owned 2 pairs of Julbo Explorer sunglasses. They are great lenses and I really recommend them however there is a huge flaw with these and after roughly 6 months the plastic film over the frames starts bubbling, cracking and flaking off. My first pair were replaced free of charge by amazon but my 2nd pair they would not do so. I am going to take this issue up with Julbo. Would I recommend these to other potential buyers...No.

sunglasses
Just got these and they are a good fit, i would have a large face. They are as described I have not yet had the weather to try outside, but they are reasonable robust however if treated without care they could break like any sunglass. They hold well on the head and cover around the eyes well to prevent side light entering. Bit expensive but I am happy with the item.

Flimsy, poor quality. Very disappointing.
I have two pairs of the first Julbo Explorer and they have been great. This pair of Explorer 2s is very disappointing. The quality is poor. They don’t fit my face well, compared to the previous model, leaving a clear gap between the bottom of the glasses and my cheeks - not good for high mountain glasses. The quality of materials seems flimsy and poor. The packaging even looks cheap. I almost question whether they are a poor Chinese copy. I shall be returning them.

At first I was not impressed with these but started to like them. Although made in France, they have an unimpressive black plastic ordinary-shaped frame with simple side shades, and with brownish-yellow lens. Basically, not nice enough for city driving or a beach. Any decent brand sunglasses would work better than these. BUT, after taking them to four high mountains (14700 - 18700 ft range) I can tell that they worked great, and provided a solid eye protection even on a couple of really sunny days. The side shades were reliable and the frame worked well, there were no light leaks at all. My model adjusts the tint based on light intensity. This action was very natural and gradual, you won't even notice, but it works. They looked totally black at the altitude. I recommend these for mountaineering, even at high altitude.
