Easy to fit and works well

It's ok
It's ok but does not compare to top brands. Sluggish and wifi tolerable. Worst of all is the speaker, volume not great and if you boost it in settings then distortion comes in. Fine through headphones or external speaker. Plus point is HDMI out which nearly all new tablets have dropped.

Cheep and cheerful
I'm far from any kind of expert when it comes to tablets, this is only the second one I've tried, and while it's maybe not as good as the other one it's around 50% cheaper so that's a big deal if budget is important to you and it certainly is to a lot of people; In use this does everything I tried perfectly well, the screen looks good, games run fine and the limited apps that I regularly make use of all run fine as well. I'm definitely not going to be the most intensive tab;let user but then this is more likely to be getting bought as a first tablet for someone, or as a cheaper budget one so I doubt it'd be getting used for anything it couldn't handle. The info on Amazon clearly isn't up to date as mine also came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, not 5.1 Lollipop as stated on the product details. If I hadn't used a more expensive tablet before then I probably would've given this 5 stars. Good value for money.

Slow ๐ฃ
Takes ages to load. Shame as the large screen is great.

A Worthy Purchase, and one that other manufacturers could learn from
I know when people look for a tablet they go for the usual Samsung or Apple, I would highly recommend giving this a go... for it's price it may seem like a budget unit, for the name you may think it's a budget unit... ARCHOS has a misunderstood reputation for it's build quality and I'm happy to say this doesn't disappoint. a high definition IPS (In Plane Switching) display means that you always get a nice crisp image, especially good if watching something like Netflix or YouTube, the processor is more than happy to handle a majority of games on offer (it even has a load of GameLoft titles preinstalled), I would urge you to ignore the title spec though... it says it runs on Android 5.1, it actually uses Marshmallow 6. Couple it with a chromecast or similar generic Miracast Dongle, Foxcesd WiFi 2.4G miracast adapter, Wireless HDMI Display Adapter Receiver Mirroring Streaming Videos, Audio, Picture, Live Camera and Music from iPhone, iPad, Andorid Smart Devices to TV, Monitor or Projector [Black ]row all the content at the tv, or if this doesn't suit you can use a cable AmazonBasics High-Speed Mini-HDMI to HDMI Cable - 1.8 m / 6 Feet (Latest Standard) to keep it simple.

Lackks Camera Power
Nice basic design, easy to operate, programme, manage and hold. Has a very clear screen, but the whole thing is spoilt by the camera which is very poor and lacks enough pixels to take any decent pictures, though it may be OK for Skype or similar systems where fewer pixels need less transmission power. Put a better camera in and this could be a winner.

Good value basic tablet
This is a sturdy and reliable basic tablets, that would act as a solid introduction to using tablet computers, and is perfectly secure and grounded for everyday use. The item is well packaged in an attractive box, and came 97% charged. There is a US and UK plug adapter with the requisite leads and useful pack of instructions. The tablet uses helpfully android centred software, and I had imported my Google settings from my phone in five short minutes, and this tablet got on steadily and securely with the job of introducing all of my apps. The finish is predominantly plastic, with the volume and off buttons obviously placed. The location of the micro USB slot, headphone jack and other controls all on one edge is a little cramped but not a serious problem. Day-to-day for my tablet computing, which I do a lot as I don't use a pen due to health issues, I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab and an Asus. This tablet seemed to run and operate my fairly regular apps that are used day-to-day such as Evernote, O2 TU, Yahoo and Google classroom pretty smoothly. I certainly didn't encounter any sticking or hitches. I did find the resolution of the screen and the colour contrast a little dour and understated by comparison with the other tablets. But overall I'm finding this of reliable and user-friendly second division tablet which wins strongly on competitiveness for price, as I think it is very good value
