I wasn’t sure about spending 20 some dollars on a box for my comics but I have to say I’m glad I did! This box is amazing. First off, it comes in a few different colors if you wanna color code things, and a spot in the front and back to insert description of contents card and places for your fingers right above that for lifting. It’s easy to assemble, and sturdy. Theres little studs that snap into holes that secure it so it won’t come apart easily. This box won’t be falling apart like a cardboard comic box would over time considering it’s a nice hard plastic. Also eliminates bowing from stacking boxes on top. The lid is great complete with a locking mechanism. I wish it could store more comics but they also have a long version like your standard cardboard box selection does. There’s these 4 pegs at each corner of the lid that I assume are for when you buy more boxes of the same type and stack them it keeps the ones on top from sliding around. It also comes with 1 partition to make 2 separate sections and 4 preexisting slots for the partition to potentially go. Or you can buy a pack of bcw partitions made for these boxes and use 3 more to make 5 smaller sections. I currently have 108 modern comic books in the box all of them bagged & boarded with silver age bags & boards. This makes up for one side of the box, I have the partition in the farthest slot to the end where I have a couple graphic novels and I’d say if I put anymore comics in on the comic side it would be hard to see what the comics are just by flipping through them. I kinda have to pull them out already. I’d say it can fit about 130 modern comics in silver age bag and board. This box can also fit comics in toploaders and the tall marvel omnibus’ like Darth Vader Vol 1. Overall it’s a great box and I recommend.

Be sure to follow the instructions when putting this box together. It's very difficult to take apart after you assemble the walls and (like me) forget to put the floor in. Minus that small hiccup. This box is amazing. Functions well. Very sturdy. My only gripe is how expensive these are. If you find them on sale? Buy them up. If you need them?

It's perfect. Easy assembly. Even when they are packed full, I'm able to pick up the crate and move it. Protects them better than the cardboard ones against mold, mildew, and also water resistant.

I needed to store some old silver age comic books, this storage box did the trick. Sturdy, snapped together easily and are stackable. . A much better solution than cardboard boxes. I'm sure they would work well for other items but are sized to accommodate comic books.

Keeps my comics safe and sound. Used in conjunction with boards and sleeves I feel my investments are protected. Storeage is easy, stack on other boxes, was easy to assemble, and functions as intended. Quality product.

Got a few of these in different colors as replacements for the good 'ol cardboard short boxes and am not disappointed. BCW has always made quality products and these bins are no exception. Really easy to assemble, and exceptionally sturdy. The handles are relatively comfortable for when you need to move it from one place to another. The interlocking, hinged top pieces make for great stability and keep them from caving in on your comics even with stacking them up, and the locking mechanisms keep them from opening unexpectedly. The small label holder on the end make it easy to label and keep up with where you have your books stored. The divider works great for holding the books in place when the box isn't full. That said, my one nitpick with these boxes is that I wish there were more places to put the dividers. There are only few places to put them, so if you dont have the right number of books they'll end up tilting which could be bad for the book. You can get more dividers, which is nice, but I feel like either more places to attach them or a way to slide it to whatever space is needed would make these even better. Like I said, that's really nitpicking, and may not even affect most people. If you want the best storage box I've ever used in my almost 40 years of collecting, get these!

Expensive for what it is, books move around more than they should. Solid quality.

I just bought my 10th bin. I’d like to say I’m done, but we all know that’s a lie. These bins are like Pringles; once you snap the heavy-duty lid on one, you just can't stop. They stack so perfectly that I’ve essentially built a new load-bearing wall in my house made entirely of 90s hologram covers and indie variants. My wife asks when it ends. I tell her it ends when BCW stops making the bins. 5 stars for durability and ease of putting together.
