Wasn't expecting much from this for the price it was, but it does the job well and is as good as any other baby gate I've had in the past. Easy to fit and the latch is easy to use one handed. A clever toddler might be able to discover how to operate it but so far my puppy hasn't worked it out!!

Brilliant pet gate! This has an extension on, easy to install with instructions. Seems sturdy, no missing parts. Great to stop our puppy getting up the stairs. We also bought a second one for The bedroom.

However, I find them less secure than hard-mounted designs which need drilling and are less renter-friendly for energetic kids and top-of-stairs locations. I use wall cups for safety which also requires drilling. While similar one-hand gates and walk-throughs often have similar basic build quality some offer more robust latches smoother mechanisms and heavier frames that feel more long-lasting. We’ve been using it for nearly six months and I recommend it if you’re looking for a budget-friendly baby or pet gate that’s easy to install, especially in rentals. It offers walk-through convenience with a one-hand opening and adjustable door widths (with an extension, sold separately). Its best for use in doorways, kitchens, and pet-safe zones provided you measure your opening carefully and install the wall cups for added stability. It provides simple home safety without breaking the bank. But If you want the most secure gate, especially for top-of-stairs locations, or strong toddlers, I would advise consider other options. You’ll need a gate that can withstand strong toddlers pushing and leaning has a very wide opening (which might require extra extension or a larger model) and is better secured with a hardware-mounted gate from other trusted brand with stronger attachment points. Easy to assemble and fit, well made good value for money

I purchased this after reading the reviews. It was bought to stop our Field Spaniel climbing the stairs after he was castrated. The gate was sturdy enough and easy to put up and use.

The product itself was fine but I have a warning for anyone using it for dogs. I have put a sheet of wood over it as my puppy got wedged in it and it was very difficult to get him out.

Die Tür selbst ist doch sehr schmal und für "gewichtigere" Menschen bedingt geeignet. Ansonst sehr leicht zu installieren und ist stabil.

Bei unserer Tür mit einer breite von 85 cm hat es leider nicht gepasst. Mit Verlängerung war es viel zu breit und ohne viel zu schmal. Jedoch war das Produkt qualitativ sehr zu empfehlen. Preisleistung stimmte absolut. Daher kann ich das Gitter sehr gut weiter empfehlen sofern dir geeignete Türöffnung vorhanden ist. Der Umtausch verlief reibungslos! Kleiner Tipp falls es zurück geschickt werden muss(Prime). Nicht das Rücksendeettiket verwenden! Sonst fallen Versandkosten an. Bei Amazon persönlich anrufen und das Paket wird Vorort wieder abgeholt!
