Looks like a well made bit of gear and will be super helpful with guitar maintenance. Have had cheaper ones in the past, but this looks to be a lot more precise. and looks dead flat

This is a precision tool no doubt. Very useful. I set up multiple guitars. I wish I had this sooner. It's made life much easier and the set ups faster.

Might seem a little expensive compared to others on here but buy cheap buy twice. With it being a tri beam, it's unlikely to warp over time either.

Brilliant, now I realise my guitars neck needs adjusting I’ll need to buy more tools to fix it. Im new to music Nomads designs but will say as part of the tools I need to build up to maintain my guitars this is a must have. Excellent quality, covers all my neck lengths (PRS, Fender Stratocaster, Tanglewood etc), looks cool in blue and is generally a well thought out design.

I bought this after reviewing many others in part because I'm familiar with the MusicNomad brand. I was not disappointed in what I received. This is a quality instrument that anyone who works on guitars needs. It serves two purposes. The 1st is in checking the fretboard (wood) for level before you then (2nd) check the frets for uneven wear. It's important to first adjust your truss rod so the fretboard wood is in a fairly straight plane before you consider taking any material off of your frets. This tool lets you do that. Its well made and the surfaces you are checking with are precision machined. I checked mine against a L.S. Starrett 24 inch straight edge and it looks excellent which is expected. One note worth mentioning is this is crafted from an Aluminum extrusion. It is a quality material and most likely 6061 aircraft Aluminum that is heat treated for strength and hardness. However, this material is malleable and will dent or ding if it receives sufficient impact with a like hardness or harder metal (your frets are harder). It's important to treat this gauge as you would any other precision measuring instrument. That said, every other one of these I've seen that is affordable, is also made from Aluminum. Yes I would buy this again and recommend to my home Luthier friends.

For working on your your guitars you need quality measuring tools. This 3 in 1 beam does the job perfectly. It's dead straight,precision ground and the it's well finished. It's aluminium so you have to be cautious with handeling the tool.

La réputation des produits de chez Music Nomad n'est plus à faire ! Le Tribeam est parfait pour vérifier la courbure de votre manche de guitare. L'outil est précis et parfaitement usiné. À manipuler doucement et prudemment lors de la prise de mesure : déposer un des côté plat sur les cordes et relever sur une des arrêtes correspondante à votre frettage entre la 3ème et 4ème corde. Les coins de la règle sont assez aiguisés, donc une chute sur votre instrument et c'est le dégât assuré ! Mais bon, bichonner sa gratte n'est pas une affaire de bourrin... Je recommande vivement le produit aux débutants et aux pros.
