UPDATED: After 1 year of owning this fountain it has died. I live in Southern California and because it is so sunny this little fountain runs ALOT. I am satisfied and have already ordered another one. I feel that for the minimal price 1 year of solid use is pretty good. I use it in a bird bath and they love it! I used 3m dual lock to stick this fountain dead center in my bird bath and it's a nice addition. It comes with several tips for different water patterns. I ended up just using the smallest tip with the single spray. The smaller tip helps keep the water in the bowl and it also doesn't scare the birds. They flop around in the water on hot days. There's no battery. If the sun is out it will run. If the sun is not out it is off. I've now had it for 6 months with no problems.

I love this solar fountain. It works perfectly as soon as it is exposed to sunlight. If you have it in a lower container or pond, you might find yourself pulling it out and rinsing grass clippings or leaf bits from the removable sponge and inlet areas more than you would if it sat higher. Birds love it. It does cause the water to evaporate more quickly if you are in a hot area, but I consider it a minor issue.

They only let me upload one video which is unfair for this product but not much I can do. I have a video in full sun and its works perfectly but I felt it was important to show how it looks in low light. As you can see it spurts but it does work! It has brought a noticeable increase in birds to my yard even when its spurting in the later afternoon sun. My only complaint is the stabilizer bars (there's 4) routinely somehow come off, usually just one. No big deal in my shallow bird bath and I have idea how they come off but I usually find them on the ground somewhere. They are simple to put back on though. I'd recommend this product

Sadly, I just bought this product in May. It didn't last, stopped working in 2 months. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment because I bought another one. I'm hoping the last one was just defective & this 2nd one will last longer because it works great! I love all the spray options with the nozzles. And the sun powers the fountain all day until sunset. I just wish it lasted longer. also a good price.

This is a great little fountain for our pond. It keeps the water moving so mosquitoes don't breed. It makes a nice water noise. It looks lovely. Please keep in mind that if the sun is not shining on this fountain, it doesn't work. If the sun goes behind a cloud, it stops immediately. When the sun emerges from behind the cloud, it works again. It only works while direct sunlight is hitting it. If in the afternoon it is in the shade, it doesn't work. It doesn't "charge up" and continue to work when it's not in direct sunlight. Our pond is in the sun most of the day so it's great for us.

First, when I received this, it was missing the instructions, missing the piece that keeps it centered, and only came with 2 nozzles. It's pretty straight forward. You find a bright sunny location and submerge it in water and it starts working. That was awesome! I don't know why I didn't get one sooner. However, it was pretty frustrating trying to figure out how to keep it centered so that the the water didn't splash out everywhere. I had to refill it with water atleast twice a day. And because I've had other submersible pumps, I know how quickly they can get clogged. I couldn't figure out how to get the motor open to clean it out, because no instructions, and I didn't want to break it. But I did the best I could making sure it was cleaned out, daily or every other day. This pump totally stopped functioning within 2 weeks! I made sure the panel was clean so that it could receive full sun. There was nothing, that I could see blocking the motor. This was during a busy time for me and I missed the return window. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon, with no response from them. So now I've wasted money on a pump that was probably a return, and doesn't work. Great concept. Just don't buy this one!

Great buy! I bought 3 and love them all! The price on these are the best of any that I have found and the quality is very good.

Gets clogged quickly and it doesn't last over a couple of months. But great for aerating a small pond like a water barrel.

Loved it while it worked. Lasted 1 month, the stopped working. Easily returned for full refund. Thinking of trying it again.

Works great

It got lots of compliments from visitors and I loved the sound of it in my garden. Despite keeping it full of water, cleaning the bowl to prevent any algae or debris buildup and it being shaded for part of each day (decreased workload), it was dead by late August after delivery in early July. Very disappointed as this is outside the return window, and I did read reviews before buying. So - hopefully this will at least benefit others who are considering a purchase.

We received the package June 3 and everything is working fine. We love it and it looks like the birds do too.
