I initially thought I would probably return this item, but I was pleasantly surprised. After a light blow-dry, I ran it through my hair, and it straightened my hair effortlessly! I recommend starting at a lower temperature, as this device gets quite hot. It leaves my hair straight and silky smooth! I am extremely happy with this purchase, especially considering there are many expensive options available. This product definitely gets the job done, and I absolutely love it!

I love this product; I can dry my hair in under 15 minutes now. Only reason it gets four stars and not five is because the hair at the top of the head don't get the same treatment as the rest of the hair farther in growth: there is a space the teeth of the comb can't straighten and it leaves the hair at the top of the head looking a bit strange.

I like the brush a lot. It's easy to use, lightweight, and does a great job.

I only use this one because it takes care of my hair and doesn't damage it.

I have a similar item I bought from Amika about 5-6 years ago for $110. I used it about every day for those years. It was very loved. I travel a lot for work and it got broke. I wasn’t in the mood to buy a new one at that price and chose to buy this one. I bought this one for about $20. And it is shaped and works EXACTLY like my $110 one. The plastic on the handle is a little cheaper, but not a problem since I won’t be traveling with it as much. I have long medium to fine hair, and it works perfect for my hair. My natural hair is wavy and frizzy. Not curly and not straight. So I straighten my hair every single day. Even when I wear it up. Would buy this 10/10 times again.

I liked the digital control and the temperature lock function because I kept accidentally hitting the temp adjust buttons while using. You still have to part it just as you would a flat iron slightly more hair. It does not work as if you are simply brushing your hair. I have medium fine hair that is in layers. this product works terrible on shorter hair pieces towards the top of the head it does not grab and had to use a comb to guide it in the straightener and even then it did not straighten at the root. Bottom line maybe if you have very thick mostly straight hair to begin with this might work well.
