A fabulous introduction to poetry
I’m delighted with this purchase. My 6 year old hasn’t put it down since it arrived. There’s a great variety of rhyming and non-rhyming poems, as well as acrostics and caligrammes that’s make pictures on the page. The topics of the poems are spot on for her interests too,

Decent collection
Great collection of poems to introduce younger reader to poetry. Makes better sense to read some of these to your child then elaborate on the themes and meanings after. Excellent collection, really broad themes covered from society, geography, sense of self and the world around us. Fantastic.

Excellent collection
Bought for my grandchildren aged 7 and 5. A big hit as the poems varied so much. Enjoyed reading in turns. As an ex teacher I had used it often in class and knew it wouldn’t let me down!

Fun book
I am a teaching assistant and when I have the class I love to read from this book. The class love it and have many favourites. I have vougjt a copy for my teacher.

Perfect book to introduce self-reading poetry to a kid
Awesome book for a 6-yr old. My daughter loves to read the large variety of poems in here. And, the poems are categorized around themes.
