This great expansion just adds to a fantastic base game. The airship models are chunky and look great on the board and like the variable end game senario cards they bring a twist to every game of Scythe.

To begin I must make it clear that I'm OBSESSED with Scythe, there, got that off my chest. This follows the usual Stonemaier format of excellent production values resulting in high quality packaging and components. The airships are stunning and the rules are clear. I would suggest that you only really consider this if you have the board extension as the territories become extremely cluttered with the additional units. As for gameplay, the ships are a force multiplier and are a subtle way of adding another dimension to the core game. I think this is aimed more at the veterans of Scythe who want to inject new life into their games rather than newbies. On the whole another good addition to the game but, of all the expansions, this is the one you could buy last. I recommend this product.

I love this. A lot of folk argue that it doesn’t add much to the base game, but I love the airships and the flexibility they bring. I also love the look of the game when you have these behemoths floating around

This is a great addition to the Scythe universe and offers enough pieces for the largest possible games. And yes, the stands for the other ship are in this box.

The rulebook, as expected, is clear and concise, ensuring a smooth integration of the new elements into the existing game framework. While The Wind Gambit succeeds in augmenting the Scythe experience, it is not a game-changer and therefore may not be for everyone. However, for players seeking subtle yet impactful expansions, this addition is certainly worth considering. In conclusion, "Scythe: The Wind Gambit" earns its five stars for its seamless integration, thoughtful design, and the enhanced strategic possibilities it brings to the table. It's a worthy addition for fans of Scythe looking to breathe new life into their gaming sessions. If you like this product, definitely consider "Scythe: Invaders From Afar." Snelle en correcte levering. Speldoos een héél klein beetje beschadigd op een hoek, maar amper zichtbaar. Dus al bij al zeker aan te raden!

L'espansione non é indispensabile, tuttavia il costo é basso (20€) e i modellini sono fatti molto bene, vedere le navi volanti che se ne vanno in giro per il tabellone é molto figo. Le navi cambiano le dinamiche di inizio gioco in quanto é possibile utilizzarle per superare i fiumi fin dal primo turno. Aggiungono inoltre qualche piccola dinamica aggiuntiva che rende il gioco più vario.
