Many folk have praised this pump, I'm very pleased and agree with them. It has a sturdy well-made feel. Only time will tell but many folk have reported that they last well. I'm using it to keep my basement dry - pumping water out of a small sump - the on & off controlled by two float switches. There's been two weeks of rain and it has worked flawlessly throughout.

Very Happy with the Whale Gulper.
I am very happy with this pump, I replaced my old Jabsco pump that was constantly blocking up on my narrowboat with the Whale Gulper. It pumps faster and doesn't block, as there is nothing that the hairs in the shower water can catch onto and it was half the price of the Jabsco. A good pump, so far so good.

Great - very quiet running
Installed this to replace the pump for the shower waste in my narrowboat. The Whale is much quieter, and also really good that it can run dry (unlike the previous pump). Very pleased with how easy it was to install.

I installed this as the new shower pump on my Cal 39, replacing an aging 40+ year Jabsco that finally gave up. The fit was straightforward and the performance has been solid so far.
