LeapFrog LF915-2HD Baby Monitor, 2 Cameras, 5” 720p Screen, 360° Pan-Tilt-Zoom, Color Night Vision, Night Light, Two-Way Intercom, Secured Transmission No WiFi

This is our FOURTH baby monitor that we have purchased on Amazon, and I can finally say that we found one that works great and is an excellent value. The first two baby monitors that we purchased were made by "Good Baby" and "Eufy" had problems were they FROZE in the middle of the night. Our baby was crying hysterically for who knows how long, because the audio was stopped, and the video was frozen on these two old monitors from Amazon. Have to returning those, the next monitor we got was the "infant optics pro" monitor, which cost $200, and has issues with video quality, as well as with the temperature reading. It definitely was not worth $200... Finally, we purchased this monitor by LeapFrog. This is a well-built monitor, with an excellent camera, which you can control remotely. There's also a color night vision, which really is just a low light camera, so if it's too dark it doesn't work, but either way, if using that camera or the regular night vision, the video quality is crisp and clear. This monitor also has the best range out of all the monitors we tried. Our house is old and has lead in the walls, but this monitor is able to get past that better than any of the others that we tried. There are LEDs that light up on the side when the baby is cry, so you can see the crying even if your audio is low and the LCD screen is turned off. The temperature monitor is accurate to a 10th of a degree, which is the best we found out of any of the monitors, and also, a humidity meter is shown as well. The few minor shortcomings of this monitor are in my opinion related to the volume control. To adjust the volume, you first have to press a separate volume button, then press up and down on some arrow keys that normally control the camera position. I just wish that there were dedicated up and down volume buttons. Secondly, when the screen is off, and the volume is mute completely, there's no indication via LEDs or any other feature to remind you that the monitor is muted, aside from when the baby is crying and those LEDs light up on the side. Aside from these minor issues, this is an excellent baby monitor, and after testing several others that are very popular on Amazon, I would recommend this to anybody to monitor their baby.

We bought this open box as a secondary monitor for our room before baby moves to crib. New parents installed fancy smart monitor over crib before realizing she wouldn’t be sleeping in there for months. Sure it doesn’t have the “smart” features of a wi-if monitor but we might like this one better. It’s used at grandmas now mostly due to the large screen and noise settings. The picture is excellent. The pan of the camera works great. We set it on a dresser next to the bassinet and it’s flexible enough it could look down into the bassinet and give us a full view. Love that you can move camera view from the parent station and doing so is SILENT. there is no major distraction/light on the camera to keep baby awake. The screen is huge. When the volume is off on the parent monitor there are still red/green lights to let you know if there is sound being picked up from the camera (the visual aid is helpful for grandma who can’t hear quite as well). The screen is incredibly bright which is good unless you want to check on baby while sleeping in the same room (just me then??). Also love that you can turn off the screen to save battery but keep monitor on for sound only.

Love love LOVE this monitor! We recently upgraded to the dual camera monitor from the single camera one to accommodate baby #2’s arrival. Only complaint is the parent monitor doesn’t have the best battery life but that’s the only “issue”. I love that it’s great quality, has an amazing range for the view angle, that it’s NOT WiFi capable and that it overall works amazingly. It’s easy to mount on the wall and you can also buy a floor stand for this from V-Tech. It’s got great sound quality and is super easy to set up! I’ve recommended it to every single parent to be that I know!

This monitor has it's pros and cons but the battery life absolutely makes up for the cons. I took my monitor off the charger around 7:30PM. I forgot to plug it back in so it was on ALL night until my youngest woke up around 8:30AM. I turned it on again for their 2.5 hour nap and then again when they went to bed around 8PM. It wasn't until 1AM I got the alert that the battery was low. THAT'S A 19.5 HOUR BATTERY LIFE (if my math is mathing right...)! Definitely THE longest lasting baby monitor battery ever. I've Tried Baby Sense, Infant Optics, Summer Infant, Etc., all only lasting ~3hrs MAX. Pros: GREAT battery. Obviously High quality picture Split screen option Cons: Kind of laggy in general Extremely laggy when on split screen display The lowest sound setting is too loud and the highest sound setting isn't quite loud enough I WILL SAY, my children are now 3 and 5 so I don't rely on them as much as I did when they were infants. For infants, I 100% recommend the Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO. VERY reliable, clear and not laggy... but you WILL be charging often. I would NOT recommend Baby Sense. Their customer service is great, however, I went through FOUR monitors. They all had amazing display but would only last 1-3 weeks before shutting off and never turning back on. That is all. :)

UPDATE: I ordered an EMF detector, and this baby monitor camera emits as much radiation as a cell phone tower. This is not advertised or warned ANYWHERE. DO NOT KEEP THIS NEAR YOUR CRIB. I looked at multiple baby monitors and all had pictures so zoomed in I would’ve needed to hang the camera 6 feet above the crib to see anything. This camera is truly wide angle and you can zoom if you choose. I haven’t had it long so I can’t talk about longetivity, but the camera picks up every little noise, has amazing picture quality, even night vision, and I have zero complaints.

I have tried 5 different baby monitors since my son was born in August. I've finally found a good one! This monitor is amazing. The picture quality is so clear, including the night mode. I love the 8x zoom feature and the night light on the camera that is easy to turn on and off with just a tap. The battery life is phenomenal (I still plug it in to charge overnight). My only con about this camera is there is a 1-2 second delay with the sound. So sometimes I will hear my son before the monitor picks up his noise.

After trying out 3 monitors, this is the one. Connects immediately, picture is great, price point isn’t ridiculous, battery life is great, sound is great too. Best monitor with no issues at all.

I love this camera we have been using it since 2022 and it is fantastic. Picture quality is great and sound quality is great. My only wish is I could link a second camera

I had 3 monitors before this one. Nothing compares to this one. Awesome battery life, great picture, great sound. Stop looking, this is the best one that you will find! :D

Love everything about this monitor. The night mode is great quality, the touch feature for the light on the camera is so convenient, the Bluetooth range is excellent!
