Silk Rose Gold PLA

Absolutely great color and prints with ease. Great shelf life. Used for duck bill.

This filament was purchased for printing some movie prop replicas. It hit the mark when my wife took one look at it and said it looked like a store-bought replica. The filament had good, strong bed adhesion. The parts have that metal sheen I was looking for. I printed at the high end of the recommended temperatures and a layer height of 0.15. The parts in the pictures were printed on a Flashforge 5M Pro. I used the generic Silk PLA setting and ran a temperature tower and a retraction test. I only changed the retraction slightly and the temp by 5 degrees ( not really sure the temp changed it noticeably). This is a good metallic appearance PLA filament. It is a good value and I would recommend it.

Beautiful - looks very much like copper. Prints great, not overly brittle, but is pretty strong (as strong as PLA gets anyway). But it doesn't tarnish like copper! :) Works well in my Ender 3 V2 Neo printer. No clogs. Like all PLA, keep your filament dry to avoid filament snapping. This has only snapped on me once, and that was after being in the printer and exposed to summer humidity in my office for over two weeks.

I was scared to get this because of other reviews, but I LOVE it! The color is incredible. The pictures don't even begin to do it justice. It printed great with zero issues. No stringing, no clogs, no problems at all. It came nicely vaccum sealed too. It isn't actually white to purple. It's more like lilac to dark purple, but I noticed that in the pictures before I ordered it, and it looked exactly like I expected. It actually looked better than I expected. I cannot say enough good things about this filament. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the cardboard spool because it was bent when it arrived, but it was usable and it fit on my Flashforge adventurer 5m pro. I wish I had ordered more rolls, and I will definitely order more in the future as long as the price doesn't go up. I added some pictures but it's really hard to capture the beauty and the color shift in photos. I forgot to change my settings to silk PLA for my benchy, and it still printed beautifully. I changed them for Gunter and the flowers though and they came out even better.

I have used this filament for a specific product and it works great. No tangles and the finished product looks great.

I've always had perfect prints with all Mika3D and DO3D filaments. They print really nicely. One thing I am not a fan of is the cheap plastic spools. They can break easily and when you loose a big hunk of the side of a spool it can be problematic getting it to unwind and print without a snag.

I actually worked with 2 rolls of this and while I may look in to buying from MIKA3D again it will never be this filament. I had clogs, stringing, blobs, you name it. Put into the dryer for a good period and tried again. Slightly better and by slightly I mean maybe 10-15% better. Eventually had to tweak setting into some hybridized PLA/PETG combo that did make things much better but still had problems. All the above was for the first roll. Got the second a few days after the first and put it into the dryer immediately. I had the same issues with the second roll as the first. Worst thing about this is that it was a print that my friend was giving to one of his wedding party, He actually bought the second roll after the rough time I had with the first as he really wanted this filament's colors. I was never actually satisfied, let alone happy, about the quality of the print.

El mejor filamento Gold que he usado, la calidad de impresión es buena, desde cama hasta alturas medias, lo uso para figuras pequeñas, medallas y anillos Realmente me encanta quisiera que todos los rollos sean como este porque me enamoro. Quisiera probar el color silver para completar mi catalogo de joyerías y va a ser mi próxima compra 10/10

Después de mil pruebas y demás me doy por vencida, al menos este azuk brillante vive tapando la impresora, no volveré a comprar este filamento nunca!!!
