It’s cheap material, the strap on one side broke when I put it on the hook. The straps on the net don’t stay on the hooks good. The hooks adhesive tore paint off of my wall. The mesh doesn’t go all the way down on the floor even with the hooks on the floor, my cats can go under it. It’s crappy!! But a gate instead! Might work for small dogs but they might knock it down easily. So just don’t waste your time and money and don’t ruin your walls like I did mine!

🐾 Overall Experience: I really wanted this mesh dog gate to work — the idea is wonderful, especially for creating a quick, non-damaging barrier in the home. Unfortunately, it just didn’t hold up for my small dogs. I read mixed reviews before purchasing but was hopeful it would be a good fit for us. ✅ Pros: • Lightweight and easy to set up • Portable and doesn’t require drilling or wall damage • The concept is convenient — perfect if it had better grip and strength ⚠️ Cons: • The adhesive hooks were inconsistent — some stuck too tightly, while others wouldn’t adhere at all • The mesh slipped off the hooks easily; a proper latch or closure system would help tremendously • My smallest dog (2 lbs) was able to crawl underneath it, and my larger ones (up to 8 lbs) could knock it down with minimal effort • The material and structure don’t provide enough resistance for even gentle pressure 💬 My Experience: The first time I installed it, it looked promising — neat and tidy, and I appreciated that it didn’t damage my walls. But as soon as my dogs started testing it, the hooks popped loose or the mesh detached. I even tried repositioning it several times, but no matter how I adjusted it, my pups either squeezed under or knocked it over completely. This product might work better for dogs that are already well-trained to respect visual barriers. However, for curious or energetic dogs (even small ones), it just doesn’t provide a reliable boundary. 💡 Suggestion: If the manufacturer added a wrap-around latch system or more secure anchors, it could make this design far more effective. I genuinely appreciate the idea behind it — it just needs stronger engineering.

First, the anchors came loose (poor adhesive). Then I decided to replace the anchors with screws to attach the mesh, and it worked perfectly, except that my dog ​​broke the mesh, and he's just a small chihuahua. Bad product.

So yes it comes with metal poles however the measurement were for the short end to be the top and bottom which is the opposite of what I needed and there is not a sleeve for the long sides. I still am using it. Second issue it the sticky hooks for the wall. Not great. Cleaned wall and yet they still didnt stay except one. Lucky it was a top one. Now the kid ended up ripping the elastic out of seam by pulling it off the hook. Crazy that the seam was that poorly sewn. That side I ended up using a screw to keep the top up using the other side to open and shut the hallway. Better stickers and sewing would of gotten this a better rating. Becareful to read how the measurements work.

I installed the gate net in front of my litter boxes so my dogs couldn't get to them but installed it tall enough the cats can go under it. it was so easy to install the clips that hold it on and they give you extra clips in case you want to move it. the quality of the gate is pretty strong. it does not have a lock, just clips to hold it to the wall. I would not recommend it for a child as a safety gate, but works great for the dogs and cats.

UPDATE BASED ON EXCELLENT RESPONSE TIME AND THE OFFER TO REFUND MY PURCHASE: This new store reading is based solely on the excellent and very appropriate response to my review. The seller offered to fully refund my purchase. More importantly, they seemed to truly listen to the specifics of my complaint. I hope this will help them to further improve their product in the future and I wish them success in doing so Flimsy. It’s my own fault; “you get what you pay for. The mesh is fine but the rods that are meant to provide stability are so wonky and the mesh channels so narrow that i struggled to get them to stay in place. Lastly, the were enough plastic “hooks” to secure to the wall, but they wouldn’t hold the screen in place. Results: I should have spent an extra $10 to get a sturdier and simpler solution.

There are no instructions. So I assumed it would be easy and self explanatory. The poles extend and they don’t stay extended so when you put them into the pocket they collapse because you have to push them into a slightly tight space. When extended they are longer than the pocket. There is nothing closing the pocket so you have to install it “upright.” Once I figured that out I grabbed the first two hooks. I cleaned and dried the wall thoroughly. Installed the top two hooks and went to grab the next two. There are only four loops and it looked like there were eight hooks. I tried to grab one but another one was stuck to it. So I tried to grab a different one…stuck, next ones STUCK! Now dogs are usually convinced they cannot pass if there’s something in the way and I hoped that would be the case with my two dogs. I left it for like a minute! Than right under it! This was meant to be temporary but not THAT temporary.

Absolutely useless. Stickers used to hold it up didn’t work and ripped paint off when i tried to remove them.

Faulty item. The item is not stitched as a rectangle. One side is longer than the other creating gaps. Not suitable for cats.

Do not buy this. My dog walked straight through and the tabs came off immediately.
