Review: Great book! - I could not put this book down! After I finished a library copy, I ordered one for my daughter. The story is chillingly told from the perspective of a child who has had to witness horrendous acts of violence. It evokes humor from some very non humorous situations. Review: very fun debut - This was a very cool book -- an interesting effort to write from the viewpoint of an isolated child. Far from perfect, but very daring and fun.

Big expectation , disappointing
I had big expectation after reading the 5 stars reviews. About 90 pages . It's ok and not more .

Extremely clever and funny
It's a quick read and written in a very unique way. I laughed out loud many times and have given it as gifts to several people.

Interesting perspective
This is a very well written book with a novel perspective on the drug world. The child's perspective gives some insight into what it must be like growing up in a drug lords home.

Like this author
This author used the wonderful perspective of a boy stuck in his disfunctional environment. A quick read with many layers of meaning.

Rabbit Hole
Very cleverly written ... humorous, but dark. The child is caught between his dreams and the reality of his father's world.

Wonderfully sad and funny novella
Down the Rabbit Hole has one of the best first person narrators. The boy's voice is sad and brave and quirky. Reminds me of Vardaman Bundren from Faulkner's As I Lay Dying. He's so sad and so funny.
