Girl on the Shore, A

Asano's story telling always resonates with me and hits hard right in the feelings. It's a perfect read for any teenager or mature reader and the artwork is simply sublime.

I personally believe this to be an amazing 2 volume series, others may disagree and i can understand why. Listen to me when i see this is not for everyone… you have to look at his story deeper to really see what’s going on if you take it as face value content then this will not have the same brilliant effect of surrealism. I highly recommend you check this series out. However if you don’t like it then don’t be put off by the author altogether as many who read this and did not like it went on to read asanos other stuff and enjoy it substantially.

Nice book to read

Another excellent example of the talented Inio Asano. While this does contain explicit scenes, it's not the driving fact of this book. More often than not, the characters feelings, thoughts, even the pain they've experienced is told through the beautifully drawn backgrounds and scenery. It's a very bleak world that Isobe and Koume live in, and often at times the book can feel very heavy with its depressive atmosphere. There are some very minor issues with the translation, but the art is great as always by Inio Asano, and it is worth the read.

Primarily a story about relationships. Does not shy from showing early sexual experiences. I found the characters more human for the flaws shown. The end shows personal growth though it is both saddening and cheering.

Life is short, and some things I'll never have gotten to experience.

I really liked this. Both art and story. I think people should look at the reviews before buying. It is, definitely, for a mature audience. I will be re reading in the future.

The boy is unscrupulous and unruly in a way. The girl pretends that she is a decent girl at school and at home. What was the creator trying to say? I did not get it. Overrated work.

As a total fan of Punpun, downfall and Solanin, I loved this piece of art. It will dive you into a lot of situations and experiences like no other manga will ever do, recommend you to read it.

I bought this to prepare myself for Goodnight Punpu and wasn't expecting much, but it ended up becoming my favorite manga. I never thought a story this short would make me feel an intense set of emotions as this one did. Explicit content by the way.

Lest es selber es ist sein Geld zu 1000000% wert und ist von der erzähl Struktur genial. Achtung man muss bei inio asanos werken hinter einige ecken denken.
