I have partly read this book , not having it that long . However , it is full of information one doesn't normally come across . It is an in-depth treatise on the subject of sharks in their living environment and the effects man has on their well being . The different species are addressed and there is a very comprehensive list . An interesting book and would be liked by those who want more on the subject than just pretty pictures .

Bought this for my 10 year old grandson who loves sharks. He is an avid reader so wanted to get him something he could really spend time with. His mom says he loves all the facts and reads it often. It may be a little old for his age, but in reading ability and interest, he didnt need just a little kid's book.
