Can I use this to seal and waterproof aluminium?

You can use it to seal a vinyl floor you painted with latex porch and floor paint in your bathroom. It protects the paint but leaves water marks.If you use this to waterproof aluminium, I'm not sure I'd do that....no matter how much a product touts that it doesn't "yellow" it does a little bit.

Is a respirator mask required when using this product?

I didn't use one . However I used a small amount in an open space. I put the lid on the tin immediately I finished. If you buy the aerosol I would recommend a mask.
