The scale is accurate to 1/10th of a pound and includes a stainless-steel hook and an easy-to-use lip grip for weighing your catch. Accurately weigh fish up to 110 lbs. or 50 kg.A large 2.5 inch digital display means it is easy to read the weight of your catch, and also easy to capture on a picture. The back-lit digital display works great in low light conditions and the scale will turn off automatically after 60 seconds to save valuable battery life.The 3-button design makes this scale easy to use. Press the unit’s button to toggle between pounds & kilograms, Press the memory button to store a weight, and press the power button the reset the scale or turn off/on. The WideView fish scale can record and store up to 9 measurements and can also display the total weight of the fish you have saved in memory.On select models we include a small easy to use locking lip grip which only requires one hand to use. Review: Kastking scales rock! They don't sink and water resistant. - Love this scales . I went through two other scales in a matter of few weeks . Realtree scales got dipped in bait bucket for few sec - done ( wonder why they didn't make fish scales water resistant - beyond me ) Berkley scales - Led doesn't light up ( I do a lot of night fishing) which is a big negative . But then even when sun is really out - you still can't see the number on their tiny LEd . They were useless to me along with their very weird garage opener battery choice. KastKing out shined all of them . Nice led , very comfortable grip . I dropped them in the open lake ystr when I hooked 3 stripers at once . Once I got 2 out of 3 in - I had to chase my scales because they got pretty far out . Which made me realize that bright orange color was a smart choice . But they didn't sink and worked perfectly later when I had to weight the fish . The only thing personally that I would change. The standard grip on the KastKing takes some time getting used to . So I swapped the grip with the Realtree once .

**Q: description says warerproof, but are they saltwater proof?**
A: Hi there,

You can use this scale in fresh or saltwater. Please know it is best practice with any product that is intended for saltwater use to rinse or wipe off after use.

**Q: Does it tare?**
A: Yes, it does.

**Q: What is the accuracy of the scale +/_?  I want to measure puppy over the growth period. :)**
A: Mine was pretty accurate. However, You can buy the same scale three times and get different answers. I suggest weighing a dumbbell And going from there.

**Q: Is this backlit?  Does it have a built-in measuring tape?**
A: No tape...and I use it during the day so I don't know about the back lighting.

Love this scales . I went through two other scales in a matter of few weeks . Realtree scales got dipped in bait bucket for few sec - done ( wonder why they didn't make fish scales water resistant - beyond me ) Berkley scales - Led doesn't light up ( I do a lot of night fishing) which is a big negative . But then even when sun is really out - you still can't see the number on their tiny LEd . They were useless to me along with their very weird garage opener battery choice. KastKing out shined all of them . Nice led , very comfortable grip . I dropped them in the open lake ystr when I hooked 3 stripers at once . Once I got 2 out of 3 in - I had to chase my scales because they got pretty far out . Which made me realize that bright orange color was a smart choice .
