Q: Does this have to be fitted to a wall or can you remove the wall fixing from the bin for it to be freestanding?

Hi Rie, you can do either with the bin. I understand the back can be removed for freestanding but that it will leave a small hole. I have mine free standing in the bathroom with the wall fitting intact. It is ideal for a small bin.

Q: Can the attachment bracket at the back be removed? I don’t want to hang it from the wall

It does not come attached so you can have it either free standing or on the wall.

Q: Can it be attached without screws?

Can’t really remember. We have had ours for several years. Don’t think it can be fixed without screws even if it had a fixing plate provided.
