Reasonably Priced Welding
I'm not about to suggest that the kind of machine this spool of wire is used on is anything approaching a professional machine. However, after 32 years working on ships, fixing ships, building them and latterly in the offshore oil industry I've seen and done enough welding to literally float a tanker.... And the weld I get with this on my Sealy MIG welder is pretty good. Really. MiG welding is fairly easy once you have the knack but is still better if you use decent gas and good wire filler which, this is. The purity is good if my efforts are anything to go by and it's packed in a vacuum blister pack which, helps ensure that there is no rust or moisture build up. In use it works well. Once going I get a nice even and smooth weld that is in part due to my hours trying fix old pipework on ships learning how to weld and in part to decent metal wire which, this is. Couple of things to note if you are not familiar with MiG wire. Firstly make sure that you keep a good grip on the wire spool as you fit it otherwise it will 'spring' and you'll end up with a right mess and secondly, if you are going to leave your machine fallow for a bit then remove the wire to stop it getting rusty or damp. Bit of a pain, but stops you having to dump half a spool or wire. Overall, good value stuff for us home gamers.

Does the job
Works very well in my Miller 252. Does sometimes jump around and over-arc (could be down to my skill or possibly even my home electricity stability), but mostly sticks with consistent welds. Argon works well with this.
