Julep When Pencil Met Gel Sharpenable Multi-Use Longwear Eyeliner Pencil - Pastel Violet - Transfer-Proof - High Performance Liner

These are hands-down the best eyeliners I have used in quite some time. I have tried super cheap, drugstore pencils, expensive name brands that cost $30-$40 for a pencil, and these are amazing. They are easy to sharpen, which I like, I like a very sharp point, and they go on easily, but they are not so soft that they don't apply precisely. They are the perfect mix of soft/hard. Very easy to glide on my eyelids, and you have around 5-8 seconds to smudge it or clean up smears, or I use my finger nail to swipe up the liner at the end of my lashes. After that time, the eyeliner stays put, it will not budge. It is amazing, it doesn't smear off, it doesn't bleed out under my eyes or on my eyelids (I have always gotten eyeliner on my eyelids by end of day. I must have oily eyelids, not gross, but very moisturized or something). This comes off easily with Micellar water and I wash with face wash. I purchased the dark brown (which is very dark brown, nearly black), the glittery brown (so pretty and not as harsh as the dark brown, the clay (pretty light, but still pretty) and the dark green (haven't worn yet but it's pretty). These are such a great deal and I expect them to last 6-8 months, depending on how much you use them. I know some people don't like to sharpen their eyeliners, but I do. It's the only way to get a precise point and create thin lines, in my opinion. Get a good sharpener. :)

Beautiful Color Navy Smoke! So hard to tell in my photo but this navy smoke and I was looking for a color that is just a little bit less harsh than black and this does the trick and it is so pretty on! I had no trouble applying it, I used an urban decay eyeshadow primer first and then applied this liner and it was super easy to put on so far it is lasting, for the price this is a winner!

Staying power isn’t as great as it goes on but it’s very easy to apply and color is very nice

I have been looking for a good gel eyeliner formula to love for a while. And especially one that is not a luxury brand because that is not in my current budget. One of my favorite influencers used to use a dark brown shade from Julep in almost every video a few years ago so this been on my buy list for a while and when I saw it on sale, I had to buy it. Though it isn't a dupe, it reminds me of Rockstar from Urban Decay, one of my old favorites and one of their old best sellers. They both have the same similar shimmery feel and both can be used lightly for a more subtle effect or heavily blended out with eyeshadow for drama. In the pic, I blended out most of it. I hope you can see the gold flecks against the taupey brown shade. The creamy formula applies opaque and is so impressive, and I definitely plan on buying more shades the next time I see them on sale. There are so many shades, I think I will start with brown and black and go from there. This formula glides on so easily and once it dries, it doesn't move. I honestly think the price is great on its own but there are sales often, and it brings the price down to drugstore prices. If you need a gel eyeliner, you have to try this one. It is just as good as any luxury brand. And I am so annoyed with myself for waiting so long.

I was looking for something that waterproof but great way make the eye to appear more refreshed. Being an older person, my eyes look more tired and I always used black eyeliner and mascara. I love how easy this is to apply to the eye. am in love with the color being I have always used black, I think black on a olde person doesnt do great for the eyes. This color was a better choice. With already dark brown eye it was a great choice and the size of the product was small. I think it was a prtetty good size and the price was affordable. What I also loved about this product it can last all day wear . This is a set up for myself in trying to find a product that lasts and a still help the older eyes from looking more refreshed then making them look older and tired. I recommend trying the bronze color..My favorite.

Works well until it doesn’t. After sharpening the color line falls out and can’t not be used again. I’ve bought 4 times and have to rethink this one.

Wow! This eyeliner pencil goes on so easily. Excellent for mature skin and stays on really well! The Camo Green is such a great matte shade. Neutral to warm, medium/dark green. Not "too much" accentuates green eyes beautifully and its safe for the waterline. Love it!

Made in Germany. This is a really nice green. The tip broke off upon opening but it sharpened back up nice. As long as it doesn't constantly brake in the future will update if it does. Soft liners are better anyways.

Excelente lápiz para ojos. Mi favorito. Cremoso, fácil al aplicar y dura todo el día perfectamente. Resalta muy bonito los ojos verdes.

I don't often buy eye pencils as they drag on skin and then disappears when my eyes water, as I seem to react to lots of make up. But this feels quality, more like a very soft crayon, not waxy but glides on so soft can barely feel it and is not sticky. Colour looks gorgeous but not glittery and best of all it stays on all day even if my eyes water, but comes off easily with elemis make up remover. Highly recommend, especially if you're on wrong side of fifty and nothing stays!

Very soft to apply and a flattering deep violet colour which brings out my mid-brown eye colour.
