Anastasia Beverly Hills - Lip Liner Precision Matte Long-Lasting Pencil

Anastasia Beverly Hills absolutely nailed this shade! Chai is such a beautiful neutral lip liner that works wonderfully with so many of the nude, mauve and natural lip colors I tend to wear. The pencil goes on incredibly smoothly without dragging or skipping, but it still has enough structure to give me a nice, crisp lip line. Once it’s on, **it stays put**, which is exactly what I want from a liner. No disappearing act before my lipstick does! What I especially love is how easily Chai blends with my lippy rather than leaving that obvious “outlined lips” look. I can define the edges, blend it inward and top it with lipstick or gloss for a really polished, natural finish. Beautiful shade, smooth application, excellent staying power and wonderfully versatile. **Chai is definitely going into regular rotation! Five stars!

I’m so glad I finally decided to get this lip liner because it is now my favorite one. I’m a light cool neutral olive and everything “nude” or “brown” tends to pull orange on me, so I was looking for a lip liner that would work with my lip color and undertone, giving me that subtle “my lips but better” shade for days when I want to look put together but don’t want an elaborated look. This is it. I’ve had it for a few days and I’ve used it most of those days. I love the formula, it is very easy to work with, easy to blur it out if I want to, and it is an actual cool-toned shade so it stays the color it says it has. This is also a huge lip liner when compared to others I have, so for me this is 100% worth the buy.

This is a very nice lip liner and color. The price is way too high, though.

My search for the perfect cool mauve/nude lipliner continues…. this is darker and quite warm and pulls orangey on me. Muted implies dulled down and mauve implies a purplish undertone, this has neither. When I put it on to try, the colour that came to mind was terracotta. I’m a fair, cool skin toned blonde

Great price compared to buying in Boots. Lovely neutral colour. I would recommend warming it up on your hand first time use before applying on lips for ease of application.

I purchase two lip liners from Anastatia Beverly Hills, one in Cherry and one in a pink color, Rose Dream.These liners are gentle to apply and soft giving maxium or minimal color without being dry or dragging on your lips. The cherry color works with all blue red colors and the pink with most medium to ligher pink shades as well. A lip brush will blend the liner with the lipstick so you won't have a stark contrast between liner and lipstick. I was previously using a red colored pencil from a brand on Sephora which was much shorter in lenth and much more pricey. These lip liners give more length, cost less, and sharpen well without losing the the point of the pencil. I use the metal sharpner for small and large pencils, made in Germany and also sold on Amazon. Great pencils and colors. Thanks Amazon for having these on your website. Dianne, Canada.
