Awesome pets
Bought this item for our 10 year old animal mad daughter at Christmas. The item took about a week to arrive but the eggs took over two months to hatch but once they did we ended up with six stick insects. We feed sticks Ivy from the garden (change it twice a week and spray water mist on the leaves once a week). The insects are really interesting to watch as they grow - our biggest insect (twiggy) is about 10cm long now and my daughter regularly gets it out to hold. Top tip: we’re growing ivy in a pot from some off cuts we took from the garden (tips on how to do this are easily available on the internet), this should mean that the sticks can just have a pot of live ivy in their enclosure to eat. Don’t buy a potted ivy plant from the garden centre as these often have pesticides on them so can kill your sticks.

Great fun
This kit has already brought much delight to our family. One of the eggs hatched the first night we received them and a second the following day. We are awaiting the next ones with great excitement.

Already came hatched
The item itself is great but two eggs came hatched already so unsure how ling these poor guys have been without food but they seem happy enough. Plenty of information in the letter and booklet so my son could care for them right away

So simple to set up
This is brilliant. Helpful, informative pamphlet with it and a little vial of ten eggs. The first hatched after about ten days, then one or two more every few days. We’ve had it four weeks and now have seven supercool stick insects, who my kids adore. Still a few eggs left to hatch, so looking forward to meeting the rest of them. Very impressed. Arrived quickly once ordered. Make sure you have a water spray bottle ready. We have put a potted ivy plant in with ours, which they love munching and climbing

They are so cute!
Within a week of receiving the item we had one baby stick insect and a couple of weeks on we now have six. They are small and cute and my daughters love them. We still have a few eggs that haven’t hatched but we are keeping an eye on them and even if they don’t we are very happy with the ones we have. Great item! Thank you!

Disappointed
We got these and followed the instructions to the letter but have only hatched 5 eggs and two of them have died. But my grandson is still interested in them.

Overrun
These really grew and grew well!!! Ended up with over 100 in a re purposed fish tank! Had to give them away in the end which took months to find someone willing! Tried local pet shops and wildlife places and they weren't interested. They cannot be released into the wild in the UK.

The world's most underwhelming thing
We got these on the ,9th of October, it's now the 25th of December. nothing has happened. I basically paid for a very expensive net and some tiny brown balls. The butterfly one is great but this is rubbish
