I’ve been using these pens for eight years since I started calligraphy and Bible lettering. They are my go to, and they never let me down. The .005 is perfect for taking lots and lots of very small notes with the thin Bible, pages, you can see through the other side that there is writing, but it doesn’t bleed onto the page. It’s perfect for hand lettering or just taking tiny notes.

These pens are great and have the super fine tip. No pen with this tip really lasts that long but the performance a quality of this brand is one I trust with my artwork. The quality of fine line I get working with these pens is superb.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these Sakura Pigma Micron 005 Pens in Black. If a pen could make me squee with joy, these could. While I am not a pen connoisseur, I am very picky and have tried and discarded many (neat handwriting is my jam). The fine tip is perfect for me and they write smoothly without any drag, ink splats or smears. Perfect for writing in your Bible, journaling, or taking notes. I haven't tried the colored pens yet but hope to soon.

Very nice pens, very thin line. In the end I went with another solution (handwriting too poor for pens), but they do the job.

I run a group home for the elderly and disabled. I write down everything I do from the time that I wake to when I lay down to sleep. For the past year, I've used Pilot G2 Ultrafine 0.38mm pens and each one only lasts 30-50% of its ink before the tiny bearing in the ballpoint fails. I thought the first failure was a fluke, but three others have suffered the same fate. The G2 Ultrafine also didn't allow me to write clearly for the (sometimes) 16-hour days that need to be recorded in three lines of a pocket-sized schedule book. Most people say "Well, get a bigger book." That'd be great, but I need this item on me at all times and I require something that fits in cargo pants. I told my grandfather about these G2 pens breaking and he handed me his 6-pack of Sakura Micron art pens. Of course, I picked up the finest one and wrote a sentence at my normal size on a piece of scratch paper. Impressed by the clarity of the 005 0.2mm model, I wrote one more sentence beneath it that was 40% smaller. The sentence I wrote was "This is the real test." Sure enough, the writing was clear and legible. No one else in the room could read the writing, but he was glad that I was impressed. He offered that pen to me and I replied "I wouldn't want to break up the set." I pulled up the Amazon app on my phone immediately and ordered this 4-pack of the 005 Micron pens. I've been loving them ever since. Some tips for longevity of these pens: 1. Do not store them upright with the tip up. The ink will run away from the tip and it'll take time to run back when used. I store mine on its side or tip down. 2. The tip for these pens is very small and fragile. Write gently with it. Applying extra force is not needed. I write delicate enough to mark on a butterfly's wing without hurting it. Even still, it writes bold and clear.

I bought these pants because they write a very fine wine that I need often to write in small spaces.

The pens are fine; what I expected. However, they're advertised as '2 black & 2 brown'. I received 4 black. I didn't even need any black, but couldn't source the brown only, so ordered all 4. Disappointed to not receive the brown.

Excellent waterproof pens for detailed drawings and line and wash paintings.
