Helps so much
I have had all kinds of issues with my lower back for decades: bulging disks, degenerative disk disease, bone spurs, spondylitis, stenosis, etc. I would have days of extreme almost constant pain or then days of occasional pain that wasn’t as severe that was warning me my back was about to get worse and go into spasm. I also have no lumbar curve and have what is called flat back syndrome. This causes a great deal of my problems and flare ups.I bought this hoping it would help with not having a curve in my lumbar region. Also it made me think of a rehab exercise I had to do when in physical therapy for the bulging disks where I had to extend my back going backwards while leaning against a counter and do several reps of it. It was supposed to help reverse the bulging disks. This product would bend my lumbar back in the same way, but hold it in that position instead of doing it repetitively. It definitely helps. When I would feel the twinges warning me my back was about to flare up, I started using this and my back stopped twinging and it didn’t flare up or worsen. I use it everyday for about 20 minutes a day with the heat and my back has stopped twinging and has prevented the pain from reoccurring.Warning about the heat. This sucker gets HOT. I always use my heating pads on the hottest settings and I can never get too much heat, but even on medium this unit will have me squirming and I’ll have to turn it down to low after it gets good and hot. Also, don’t get too aggressive about increasing the curve of the unit. Keep it at the lowest setting for at least a week and gradually increase the curve in slow increments. If you’re doing good and think you want to increase the curve dramatically, you will be in the worst pain of your life. Go slow and you’ll be good. I definitely recommend it to anyone with lumbar back problems because it really helps.

Great for stretching before yoga or workouts
I absolutely love this...its such a simple product but it makes such a difference..i have sciatica from an epidural that was placed wrong when i had my daughter so i do yoga every morning so i dont have the pain all day..since ive gotten this i have used it before and after every yoga session...it fits perfectly on my yoga mat!! I have a very small space where i do my daily routine so i love it being so compact!! Its adjustable so u can bend it to the max which is what i am showing in the pictures or u can start little by little...cherry on top...its also heated! The wire to heat it is detachable so u can use it alone like i have on my mat or like i do some nights you can lay it right in your bed and use the heat with just a little arch to help with any daily strains!! I LOVE this!!! So simple but so important to my everyday routine!!!!!!!!!!

Good back relief helper
Overall it is a good device with a decent heating pad accessory. I liked that you can control its curvature easily to fit your back.I did notice that it can wobble a bit left or right initially until you learn to lay correctly and hold it steady. If not using heat pad I recommend using a towel instead; the surface of this stretcher can be a bit hard on your skin

Amazing for back support on airplane seats
I travel a lot, and most of my flights take me across the country. I suffer from middle and low back pain that is excruciating when I am sitting for long periods of time. I bought this initially to help stretch my back while laying down. I noticed it went relatively flat and was able to fit in my backpack. I had a flight from DC to Seattle and put this on my seat on the airplane and had relatively no pain for the entire 5 hour flight. I was able to plug the USB cable in to the USB port at the seat and get additional comfort with the heat. I will definitely pack this every time I jump on a plane.

Not enough heat! and not safe!
I got this back stretcher with detachable heating pad for a friend expecting that it could help him with his back pain, but he didn't like it.First off, the area that heats up only covers a small portion of one's lumbar spine, leaving most of the product "unheated". Even for the heated part, the temperature barely makes my friend feel warm. Plus, the "heating pad" as shown in the attached image is just a piece of plastic film inside a little pouch they sewed on the cloth, which can easily be removed by your kids, and that is NOT SAFE! leaving the heating pad aside, the back stretcher itself is not doing its work either, not much stretch can be felt when you lay on it. It just feels like an incomplete product, in its prototype phase! Will have to return this one.

Relief from chronic back pain
As someone who travels frequently, I've experienced discomfort and pain in my middle and lower back during long flights. However, since incorporating this back stretcher into my routine, I've seen a positive change. Its become part of my daily regimen, and with just 10 minutes of use per day with the heating feature, my back pain has noticeably improved.Regarding the heating element, it's worth noting that this device generates significant heat, even on the medium setting. I typically prefer high heat on heating pads, so be prepared for a substantial warmth.A valuable piece of advice: when adjusting the curvature of the stretcher, take your time because Rushing this process can lead to discomfort. Gradual adjustments are key for comfort.

Be consistent
It gives me temporary relief after using it for a few minutes, but I think if I used it consistently, my discomfort overall would be much better. Since I work at a computer all day, my spine is compressed and I’m just very stiff. When I lay down on this, it is at first uncomfortable, but eventually that subsides and I can feel my spine stretching out. I make a mental note to be more consistent with it, but I get busy and forget about it. I also want to add that I haven’t used the heating feature, so my review is solely based on the stretcher part. Overall, I’d totally recommend this if you have mild back problems.
