Bison Kayak Canoe Boat 18ft/lb 12v Electric Outboard Motor

Very light & portable, will move a small RIB at perfectly acceptable speeds in calm waters & no wind, but really struggled to move the same dinghy against the wind & tide coming in on a tidal river mouth. Works ok for use as a tender because it is so light & portable, but I was hoping to go upstream & explore & I now think I should have gone for a higher powered one. The instructions are useless. What is very obvious to me now was not at all obvious when it first arrived & I broke the steering handle fixing in the process & had to fix it with superglue which was annoying because the instructions were so poor. It comes with what I thought was a spare propellor but was actually just a tool for securing the fixing. It wasn't even mentioned in the useless instructions. So for lakes and calm rivers I would give it 10/10. It is near silent in operation, perfectly acceptable for silent inland river travel, but if like me you need to cross tidal river mouths to go from the yacht club up to the river, I would recommend getting the next 2 or 3 models up which is what I now plan to do, but will still keep this one as it is so portable and the speed is actually perfectly acceptable in calm conditions. Nice on a nice day in nice conditions is how I would sum it up, but it will get you in trouble when it struggles against incoming tide and wind whic is what happened to me on the first use.

Nice light weight engine for small inflatable or kayak, pretty useless for anything else. Use mine with an inflatable on our local canal so fit for purpose. Don't hold on to your hats for any decent service from the supplier to though once bought - there just isn't any.

Not a good product The Tension Colla does not tighten up and the screw just turns endlessly so you can’t tighten up. The Tilt Clip is not secure, rendering the shaft unable to remain in the water, so you can’t control your boat as the shaft is moving left and right and not in a vertical position. The Instructions booklet does not explain or give proper precise information. I had to return this particular model.

Really light and good size to store not tried on water yet but have tested it and really happy with it

Could not move a 6ft dinghy in slightly winds out of a marina and was informed I purchased item for unsuitable purposes. ?? Read description and give this business a very wide margin as they are most unhelpful people I've encountered on here.

Not even worth any penny because this seller send to us this motor and it's doesn't even work we should fix from our money thats not nice. Seller are so understandable
