can this be laser cut?

The only main issue with laser cutting is the heat which might deform the edges and distort the mirror. What shape do you want to cut it to? We would tend to use a flatbed router cnc machine to cut this with a clearcut router bit that gives a polished look, not high polish though but a nice edge, usually edges are covered in a window frame etc so edge finish isn't usually an issue. The brand is Plaskolite which is the manufacturer that has that image used in the listing, I don't think it specifies the brand anywhere so check with suppliers what brand they are supplying.

If i use this in a large size and place a small monitor behind at full brightness in a dark room would i basically see the tv area through the mirror?

Yes, you will be able to see the display behind the mirror even in daylight, but it is better in the dark. I used this product to build a magic mirror and the results was better than I had hoped for.

This might be a stupid question, but does it matter which way round you install this mirror?

Yes it does, one side is coated and is normally on the inside of where you are using it to protect it, the other side is just the acrylic, one way to tell which is which is that the coated side due to how delicate it is the protective film is barely hanging on, you can pretty much blow it off, bit of a pain when sawing or cnc cutting it, or storing it because if stored standing up the protective film can just fall off under gravity, the face of the product is just protective film onto clear acrylic which is stuck on much better, there is an obvious difference between the 2 and I would use that on the side you use to protect the product. Cleaning acrylic can be a pain as even some cloths can slightly scratch it, here when I clean a piece to check anything I liberally spray with furniture polish, use a typical duster and very lightly wipe over it rapidly back and forth until the polish has pretty much gone, all clean and no marks.

Can it stick on wall?

Perfect piece of priduct

Perfect for a test project. Piece was cleanly cut and I only needed to slightly trim to what I needed. If custom sizes were available, would definitely order again.

Dont buy mirror film get this! more expensive but great quality.

Messed around with mirror film from a few suppliers before buying this. There is no comparison. Even if the film is fitted with no bubbles etc its just not a great reflection, inconsistent, shows up any imperfection in the glass etc and if you are thinking of using mirror film on plastic or acrylic sheets forget it they dont work!. This however is perfectly made and works great for a Smart Mirror which is what i bought it for. My wife is the ultimate cynic when it comes to diy tech (i have tried and failed many times to impress her with my tech ideas) but even she admitted that this was a good mirror and adding the tablet behind the glass to create a Smart Mirror with appointments birthdays etc and fitting it into a cheap white Ikea picture frame made it look a professional job. Highly recommended and finally managed to buy something that does what it says rather than cheap mirror film!

Cheap as chips and works a treat

I picked this up to make myself a diy teleprompter and it was great for what I needed. It does have a slight blue hue which you will need to colour correct if you are filming through it. HAppy to answer any questions you might have

Best Mirror Ever..

Don't bother with film.. this stuff is fabulous It burns slightly if cut with power saw Leave the protective film on untill the last minute Get some microfiber cloths and a good screen cleaner It does love fingerprints I have one more to make Then another project... I will be back for more Epic in the dark !

Material is not easily cuttable and vendor is super unhelpful

As another reviewer stated, the material is not easily cuttable and shatters. I tried cutting it with a standard glass cutter and it immediately shattered. Upon asking the vendor he replied that I should have used a jigsaw and that they won't issue a refund. I never heard of anyone cutting glass with a jigsaw and I feel like this should have been specified. I specifically bought this from Amazon because I thought the customer service is better. Turns out that for third-party vendors that's not always the case. I would buy from an alternative website where they cut the material into your specific desired size (plenty out there and even cheaper). Don't buy it!

Excellent service.

Quality of product excellent. Tough bue easy to cut using jig saw with a fine blade on slow speed. Unfortunately the first order got lost in the post and so did the replacement order. Still deserves 5 stars as the after sales service was excellent. They sorted the problem out with urgency. They answered emails within an hour or two. Staff very pleasant. As such a 5star rating. Would definetly use again.
