Summer hit the world with fury this year, didn't it? I had a few weeks considering buying a tower fan as they are easier to handle and clean than the old models. I got this Dreo unit after researching a bunch of comparisons. I like the overall aesthetics of the fan, the app is useful and fast, it connected to my wifi easily, and has been working flawlessly for over a month now. I hoped it was stronger than the top level of power, as I intended to use it on a corner of my studio (about 3.5 meters from my desk. It certainly works well but I had to relocate it to a closer spot in order to feel a difference over an old circular fan that is definitely more powerful. But then again, it IS great, it's just that I am comparing it to a bigger beast. Clean-wise, this thing is a breeze. It is super easy to get inside with an air blower and have it cleaned up (I did an initial cleaning routine to familiarize myself with the process, not that it got dirty that soon). Noise at top power level is noticeable, but not distracting while working alone. You surely won't want to go online on a Zoom call with it at top speed but the noise at speed 3 is much lower, so you can do Zoom that way. I might buy a second one to create a vortex of circulating air behind my back.

Whisper, quiet and very nice pushes out a lot of air. I feel it all the way across the room has very nice. Features built in that you can use with the remote.

I just got this fan today. It’s attractive and easy to put together. I scanned the code given in the box and was able to get a free warranty extension from 12 months to 30 months. I also scanned another code given in the box and downloaded the app to be able to operate the fan from my phone. I didn’t like that it was difficult to get the correct model for the extended warranty but I figured it out finally. I wish it oscillated all the way around or at least more than it does but it does oscillate. It’s not noisy. You can choose to have the display lights on or off in the app. It’s pretty compact which I like, nice height. It would be cool to have display color options but the display color is white like the fan color I chose so that’s clean looking. Speed 1 is light, speed 2 is pretty strong, speed 4 is a lot but who knows depending on the environment. I like that there is a remote and an app feature to operate the fan. The remote was a selling point for me. It states that you can use Alexa for it too but I don’t have that. The price seemed somewhat steep but… I’m pleased so far, thanks! Pretty fan!

I purchased this fan to help in the hot evenings to move the air around. I was really happy that it is fairly quiet, even at higher speeds. There is a remote that works - but really only if you're about 5 ft directly in front of the fan. Eh on that part so docked a star on that. It does work with Alexa, however, don't use their 'link' as it is an error bank. You'll have to open your alexa app and add it by hand. It stands about 4ft tall. You do have to assemble the circular base and attach the tower to it - I did it. But it does take a bit of hand strength. All in all I think it is a really good fan - but then, time will tell. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Easy to setup. The app is also easy to use and get running. The fan is quiet but powerful. It kept the room comfortable. The screen brightness can be a bit much, but it turns off after a minute.

I use a fan in the bedroom while sleeping and I was disappointed I couldn’t find one that worked w Google nest (in the middle of the night voice control is nice - no fumbling around for your phone or remote) so I bought this one because at-least it had an app (easier to see in the dark than a remote). I was pleasantly surprised that it does indeed work on voice control with Google nest (as well as Alexa). They should update the product description with that info for more sales. The nest app doesn’t pick it up as a device but the Dreo app (which requires it to connect to the WiFi) allows you to use either Alexa or Google nest to control it (you just have to enter your Google nest username and password to allow permission). So it doesn’t show up in the list of devices under the Google Home app. However I am able to voice control it. Yay. As far as the fan goes it’s nice, I wish it came in a smaller size but it doesn’t, I also wish it made a little more noise bc I like white noise, but I use a Google speaker in my BR for that too. It also looks easy to clean which was another important feature for me and was one of the reasons I replaced my old fan - couldn’t clean it so it wasn’t working well. So far so good. Will report back if I experience any problems with it.
