This did not work for her ankle socks. They wouldn’t fit over the hard plastic, **Q: Do you need two hands to use this? I’m looking for a sock aid for someone with limited use of his left hand.** A: I do believe that you would need two hands to use this device. Both to put the sock on the plastic tube and to pull the device over your foot. **Q: I'm having a very difficult time getting my compression socks on to this device. What am I doing wrong?** A: I see that one person had the answer that worked for me this is exactly the way I did it after trying the way you would do it for regular socks. Load 1 - 2” of the sock onto the devise. When you have the sock loaded up to 1/2 the heel of the sock; then put your foot into the open end of the sock and push your foot through to the toe. (This worked for me) and is the blessing i have been looking for. There is still alot of tugging and pulling but you can do it. I suddenly found myself with noone to help me (he was hospitalized this was THE answer. ## Frequently Bought Together - Vive Sock Aid - Easy On and Off Stocking Slider - Donner Pulling Assist Device - Sock Helper Aide Tool - Puller for Elderly, Senior, Pregnant, Diabetics - Pull Up Assistance Help - 35.5 Inch Long Handled Shoe Horn, Dressing Stick, Sock Remover Aid Helper - Versatile, Adjustable Dressing Aid for Shoes, Socks, Shirts, Pants - Long Shoe Horn, Shoe Horn Long Handle for Seniors - Vive Sock Remover Device for Seniors - Sock Aid and Shoe Horn for Compression Socks, Hosiery and Stockings - Sock Assist for Elderly, Men, Women - No Bending Daily Assistance Device --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/51151742-vive-sock-aid-easy-on-and-off-stocking-slider-seniors](https://www.desertcart.is/products/51151742-vive-sock-aid-easy-on-and-off-stocking-slider-seniors) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
