I contacted discount water softeners, because I needed a specific part for my softener. I contacted them so I would order the right part and they sent me what I believed to have been what I needed. When I opened the box, I realized it was the wrong size. I called back to either exchange or return the product for credit. After a brief discussion, they told me they would not except the return, nor will they give me credit for the wrong part which they sent.. I was very taken back by this, the customer representative was very rude and just hung up the phone. I am now going through my credit card company to stop payment..

I recently purchased a softener from discount water softeners. Resin tank leaked from day one. They sent me a new tank with no resin in it. They told me to just dump out the resin from old tank and put it in new tank. This unit never worked right. This is not a warranty claim. They sold a defective unit and now won't make it right. DONT BUY FROM DISCOUNT WATWE SOFTENERS!
